    What a detailed review! Surprised you aren’t showing up higher in the search results - this is _the_ Nux Loop Core comparison video I’ve been looking for for several months! Thank you so much!

      Thanks! I aim to make videos that don't already exist, as much as possible.
      Trouble is, thanks to the constantly changing TH-cam algorithms, it seems to get harder and harder to be seen these days.

    Great video. Helped me to decide to buy the old one, since the newer one is 1,5x more expensive here, and I cant find it where to buy it in installments.
    I had the old one but I had a problem with the volume knob after 3 years of use

      @@PedalExperiments how do you think the boss RC 3 compares to the nux deluxe? And do you know if the external controller works in the same way?

      I haven't tried the RC-3 yet, but it's on my list! From demos I've seen, I think the drum samples are much higher quality in the Boss, so I plan to upgrade.

    Hi, I'm going to buy the Loop Core Nux, but which one is better? The Deluxe or the normal? It's too much difference?

      I would get the Deluxe with the external controller, personally. It has more features and records better quality audio.

    No significant difference..maybe it’s TH-cam compression. What is your take on the comparison?

      @PedalExperiments  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think there's a very slight difference in clarity, but not that much. I can hear it more in the high end.
      TH-cam compression isn't actually as bad as it used to be, but there's still a little bit, so it could very well be that!

    I think it sounds out of tune, because your strings are too thin?
    I tried some super thin strings on an acoustic recently, and I had that problem - it sounded out of tune until I put on some heavier strings.
    Of course, now I have the problem I can't reach the same note with a bend, because I'd have to drag the string just off the neck, which doesn't work so well ;-D

      Hmmm. Possibly, although I always use 10's. Maybe my guitar just went out of tune quickly after I started recording?
      Idk, I filmed this a while ago tbf. Ha ha.

      @@PedalExperiments I did a poor job of describing it... Its like it went out of tune from putting your fingers on the fretboard - not permanently out of tune, but the tuning changing slightly but audibly along with playing... which is typical for extra light strings... I still don't know how Zappa played that Optima "Frank Zappa Signature" set of strings, because I can't do it without detuning everything that's not an open string... I guess we'd have to use that super light Al-Di-Meola touch. And maybe Zappa had Philippino style ultra-shallow frets!
      As you can see, its a riddle to me...
