my parents have been working in china at schools for almost 7 years now and I was with them for the first 4 but moved to the uk for university. so I thought worst case scenario was that due to covid restrictions, I would see them in this coming summer after my third year but i’m actually going to be seeing them in a month for my brothers wedding which is really exciting as i’ve been dreaming about the moment we see each other in the airport for the past 2.5 years. my dad has cancer now so being reunited is going to be different to what I expected. it’s very difficult and very surreal to think that 2 years ago I was waiting for this time in my life and instead it has turned out this way. that’s a long way of saying that I totally get what you mean about appreciating time together, it’s very important and I hope everyone seeing this who has a good relationship with their parents remembers not to take it for granted.
In these difficult moments, you have to be strong and share the time that is gold with your parents and especially with your father. I have the faith that your father will recover and cancer will be overcome. My father-in-law has overcome cancer twice, once in the stomach and once in the intestine. so your dad is going to make it. You always radiate positivity and you are loving. the Family Together despite the distance can do everything in love. A hug.

It’s pretty nostalgic to see everything back in Korea after living there for a decade and decided to move to another country.
