Great job, but food for thought, guard rails always are angled at the beginning as avoid a blunt object. That's of course according to the MUTCD Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device Chapter 3
As a modern era modeler in N scale, they can be a challenge. I mostly watch for them constatly on Ebay. I also get some from Shapeways when I need something specific that I can't find elsewhere.
I always watch for them. The autos are low-detail that can be purchased in bulk cheap on ebay. The other are a mixture of vehicles I have picked up over the years when I see them.

NIce video...looks great! one question you just did one layer of static grass and one size. would you use modge pod if you were going to add taller grass? On roads I do I use weather strip or styrene with tacky glue then mix a batch of spackling powder work it in between the styrene leavel with a putty knife when dry take up the styrene or weather strips.
Thanks. I am personally well soouth of the flooding, but some from our disaster relief team have been sand bagging ahead of the flood in St. Joseph, MO.
Most of these cars are casting so the wheels don't turn. Any cars with rolling wheels I put on the level bridge. Otherwise I would have to super glue one wheel to the axle keep it from rolling.

I think that stuff looks interesting, but I think it is too coarse and would have to be applied to thick for N scale applications.

Ron I just find out frog tape makes a yellow tape for delicate surface maybe would work better for you. I NEVER tried it

Did you ever try to build a long leaf southern pine tree that all over the southern states

I would use the Mod Podge with any one layer application of static grass. If adding a second layer I would use some type of spray adhesive.

Hey Ron! Are you modeling any specific section of Texas Interstate or just the Bridges(overpass)?
This is NW Loop 820 north of Ft Worth through Saginaw, TX.
Generally speaking, the grassy area directly under the overpass, as it gets less light, would be a lot more patchy, and might even be just dirt.
Yes, I got carried away there. I think I will sift some dirt back into that area when I add some trash detail there.
What would you recommend to get for N scale track
Personally I am a fan of Peco flex track and switches.

These were made from polystyrene. The bridges were kitbashed from Rix kits, the approach made from .020" plain sheet styrene.
