Always even when I started Pc gaming while every other competitor's looks like a toy or too big and plasticky EVGA card was a looker 700 series is when I started going with strictly EVGA. So sad their gone they will be missed.
Still using my trusty GTX 1070 (yeah, not Ti..). I just built a new rig with a i5-13600k+DDR5 and a Z690 (Z790 way too high right now). Since I have an old 1080p monitor this card is still working great. I get 92 FPS in Assassins Creed Valhalla with no hiccups with everything almost maxed out. Ill try to get a new GPU next but since I blew my budget for this build that may have to wait a while
Thermal pads? get em off eBay and cut em to shape..I've been doing it for years. Don't pay extra for the name brand stuff..they all are the same unless u wanna memory OC..a 20$ pad should be good for many cards
4080...depends tho, I may go all out for a 3090 and threadripper combo if I have the funds later this year...gonna build a new PC cause pairing a 4080 with a 4770K is pointless
@@Techformative557 I agree. I'm on the same boat I want a 3080Ti but I feel like it'll be a waste with my current 8700K I'm planning on getting a 4080 or 4090 with a i9 13900k cause I only upgrade once every 5 years.
I haven't upgraded since ever..I spent my last collected PC money on an M1 Max Macbook for video editing n stuff..but now its high time..the 4770k is slowly becoming visible on recommended specs of some games lol
Does anyone here still use a GTX 1070Ti? Do you have the same model?
Let me know down below!
The GTX 1070 FTW in my second rig
Well I have a 2018 one which is watercooled closed loop and I’m wondering if there is anything different I should do
Just recently got one, does the job pretty well
My old rig has a 1070 OC Black Edition that I bought in 2017 also.
And I just upgraded from an EVGA 3070 that I'm going to build a second PC around.
Still using my Zotac AMP GTX 1070ti in 2024!
EVGA cards have always looked so much better than the competition; especially back during the 900 and 1000 series.

This is still a fantastic card in November 2023

Thanks for posting this. I just bought one of these cards used and wanted to check the pads and replace the paste and this will be a helpful guide.
Glad I could help!
Wow I have the same one but super dusty your video actually helped me to understand the graphics base!

hey, does EVGA still provide the replacement pad kit, for the 1070 FTW card. I know they closed the Nvidia Graphics card division, so was curious.

Why don’t I have this back plate
I just bought the same one, but I'm not gonna clean it for myself, I don't have the tools , and I'd Rather go to an expert for than do it myself
I’m doing it myself right now lol 😂😂😂
