Thank you for making this video. Working on holo stamping, found one scrape and a stamper like the last one you used, not my clear one. worked great on black. it gave a beautiful shift with a peekaboo rainbow.
I didn’t pick up any of this collection just because I love my Color Clubs! 😊. Do you typically scrape twice? I always thought that was a big no-no when stamping? I have found with more intricate designs that I have to scrape really lightly to pick up the image well. Thanks for sharing!
Depends on the plate and the scraper. I was using a Nicole Diary scraper but might have been a bit better with something a bit stiffer. Once I’d started I wanted to keep all the kit used for the Holo Taco ones the same though so they were comparable. If I’d had more time I would have tested more combos before filming!
I have a see through Beauty Big Bang which is medium stiffness but my go to stamper for tricky plates or polishes is a brandless one I got off Amazon years ago. Unfortunately, I’ve not found another like it.
Hi there, I don’t think the original Creative Shop stamper is still available to purchase (it is very old!) and I tried to buy another like the one from Amazon recently and it wasn’t the same 😕
Oh darn! I've bought a couple off Amazon and I've never managed to master stamping. I've watched about 50 how to do it videos and I've tried all the tricks. I think it's just the rubbish stampers, I've only ever had little cheap ones as I've been hesitant to invest if I can't do it.
I find the Born Pretty ones and the Beauty Big Bang ones are quite good provided the plates are well etched and you use a stamping polish. They are reasonably priced too so you could try it out and then invest in a better stamper if you enjoy it?

What's your recommendation for a stiffer stamper? I didn't know the difference I've only been using a squishy born pretty.

Can you share links for the two different stampers?
