To my fellow Indian friends, these videos are not intended to mock India at all. The channel on tiktok was meant to remake funny dancing and singing videos from songs all over the world. There isn't discrimination either. Chinese people like Indian culture and lots travelled to Indian. And there is no point to mock at all. When the video was out some Chinese people was also a bit concerned that a video like this would not be appropriate and hurt Indian people, and they showed their concern in the comments. Right now the video has been removed from the channel. However we do think we the videos having the Indian style dancing and singing were the most interesting ones.

It belies the 'quality' popluation claim that the chinese spokesperson mentioned in the video. Even if lets say 20% of chinese harbor such attitude about Indians and openly feel they can say it out loud it speaks volumes of the kind of intelluctual quality they possess. This shows a very yesteryear mindset and a uncouth brutish attitude which will never lead to truly civilized and refined culture and power china thinks it will turn into or thinks it already is. This is cheap and rough quality.
Confuscianism and Buddhism perhaps were the biggest forces that tamed and civlized the chinese but this type of behavious perhaps reflect that Moaism and the cultural revolution has completely undone the benefits of buddhism and confuscism.
All countries and cultures are equal and are product of the history and circumstances. India was just as great as china so to ridicule indians like this reflects small mindedness and if this is what affluence and power brings then China will never be a UK or America or even a Russia or Japan.

There isn't discrimination either. Chinese people like Indian culture and lots travelled to Indian. And there is no point to mock at all. When the video was out some Chinese people was also a bit concerned that a video like this would not be appropriate and hurt Indian people, and they showed their concern in the comments.
