Music Synchronized Roller Coaster (Front Seat POV)
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 23 ม.ค. 2020
- I've synchronized Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture to the full length of a Roller Coaster. The coaster twists and turns with the music, as well as triggering special effects that match the beat. The sound of the cannons are coming from the music, not the roller coaster (Tchaikovsky was a madlad). This was a challenging project because the rides in Planet Coaster do not always run at the same speed. I found that the timing changed based on changes to my CPU load or graphics settings. In total, I spent over 90 hours making this video.
The quality of this video was upscaled from HD to 4k because TH-cam grants higher bitrates at this quality. I also think it solves some audio shifting issues.
If you'd like to explore the roller coaster and try it out, I post the map files for my patrons:
/ doodlechaos
Note: The music is not integrated into the map itself, but must be run externally. I used VLC so I could fine tune the speed if there was any lag in the game and I needed the music to slow down or catch up.

Everyone talks about how there’s real cannons used in the piece, but no one talks about how it’s meant to be “authentically” played only in either St. Petersburg or Moscow, and feature every single church in the city ringing their bells at the same time on cue.
Whoa. I.... whoa. That would be an amazing thing to witness, major bucket list item.
Tears would be streaming from my eyes if I ever had the privilege of seeing that
Tchaikovsky is the Elon Musk of orchestral music
You missed a pun by using "authentically" instead of "canonically".

If this was real, someone in the back seat probably would have died, due to the cannonballs, burns, limb unattachments, confetti, heights, and heartattacks.
Am I the person who feels anxious not because of the turns or heights, but because of the poles and arcs that might hit my head?
Ur not alone hehe
I would love to actually ride something like this. You could have the music playing in the head rest kind of like the Rock-it Rocket at Universal.
Too bad you'd die due to incredible forces caused by massive inertia in all sorts of turns. In fact, you'd probably die in the very beginning after the long fall. If you wouldn't die, your bones might become the milk in the milkshake that your bones would make with your muscles, but, it would be fun, by the time you finish the velocity change, you won't have much of a brain left to feel all of these stuff, you'd die happy
One might say, you'd become a Twisted Spoon :)))
@@alexandrumarzenco6998 good job bein' a killjoy there. Bet you're loads of fun at parties.
