I attempted building the CRAZIEST Music Sync ever in Minecraft…

- Fly through my world in 4k! Each block and command has been placed in sync with the song Wanchu Back by Aero Chord. This project was a big technological advancement for me. Gone are my days of trial and error block placement for music sync! I've created a new method to keyframe block positions in the free 3D Graphics software Blender with precision and place blocks automatically.
How did I do this?

Just a heads up before you proceed, it's not a simple process. I'm confident anybody can create videos like this if you follow my steps. But as a precaution, I recommend you be comfortable with Blender object keyframes before signing up. Knowing python is not a requirement, as you can replicate everything I did in this video using only the Blender UI as an interface, but python experience will be very helpful if you plan on making any modifications to my code. Great vid, but the blocks staying the same/not moving in tunnels was kind of distracting to me-
I could tell they weren’t moving and it really didn’t feel like I was moving with the music anymore.
I know how much effort went into this, and it is really REALLY cool... this is just what I thought of the new technique

@@oldfashionedboots2774 They are moving but at the same speed as the frame rate to make the illusion of being stationary.

For anyone curious of how they even built this:
First they build the map.
Then all they do is run a command that teleports the player forward 1 block per tick. Some sections it also rotates the camera by 1 degree every tick, and some sections they went faster for that speed blip effect. In order to create that fantastic beat drop they even added some command blocks to briefly give them speed, increasing their FOV for that effect. Also, let’s not forget, they spawn a few fireworks every time the player gets close enough.
_What about the blocks?_
Well there’s actually an area, which changes size through the map, which makes any blocks that get close enough to the player be immediately deleted.
Its all a lot of fantastic work using command blocks!

He does explain it himself but you need to pay for it. Also, I don't think I could learn python lol.
My guess is he wrote a program that does what you describe. I would love to see someone do this entirely in Minecraft instead of using a program. This is still honestly beautiful to watch though.
@@YaBoiDoi course you can learn python, just gotta take a bit of time for it. now the question is, should you learn python only to do someting like this? probably not

This is absolutely incredible, also glad that you found a definitive answer to the question "So when exactly does a block counts as "hit", when it goes off-screen or when it gets 1-2-3 blocks in front of the camera?"

It deletes every block in the square area in front of the player/camera as soon as it gets within 4 blocks.
Quick explanation of what’s happening:
So they build the map, with a ton of command blocks to speed up placing blocks or whatever, then they allocate for certain parts of the map, an area that is deleted whenever it comes within 4 blocks in front of the player, then all they do is run a command that teleports the player forward 1 block per tick. The GOAT of the minecraft Music Sync super bombastic visual spectacles makes another masterpiece to rob the crown from his last. my face is pushed into (sometimes beyond) the screen with everything you create!
I've watched this several times now over the past few weeks and it always gives me a strange feeling. It's like I just soak in the visuals and music and everything else fades away. It's a serene feeling but then the video winds down and the music stops and I'm suddenly aware again of my surroundings. It leaves me sad and nostalgic of what I just experienced.
Another way of putting it is when you're totally immersed in some fictional world your mind has conjured up in a lucid dream but then you wake up and are reminded of stark reality.

I'm in a weird camp here, the smoothness of the tunnel sections was actually a bit nauseating for me.
Both of the main beat drops were especially incredible to watch. I’d love to see many more of these on many more songs.
