Thanks for posting this Gina! I've been planning to do my first wrapped leather bracelet for a young friend but wasn't keen on doing a double or triple length standard wrap, and this video just popped on my YT feed again. Perfect timing for an ideal solution! 👍😄 Your black and silver version is just the thing our friend would love. 💜
@@ORCHIDandOPAL I have to ask you about that purple nail polish that looks like Tigers eye but in Purple. I love it. I even told my mom about it. Now she is curious about it too. LOL I've never seen any like it. TY
@@kimlivengood5916 Hi Kim! I purchase it on Amazon. It is a gel polish that needs a special LED/UV light in order to cure, but I LOVE it! It is a Cat Eye variety, and the shade number is 038 (no name?). It is in the second collection on this Amazon listing: amzn.to/2LwlHsG Glad you like it!
Beautiful piece! I’m wondering if you put the button onto one of the cords after you’ve passed it through the coil, and before you bend it and double back, the button might stay put instead of sliding around. The sliding would come in handy for sizing though!
Hi Donna! You certainly could, but it might stick up a little higher, and not be as comfortable. As it is, the button kind of slides right next to the loop, and seems to fit nicely there. Great idea, though!
Hi Mia! They are a 6 or 7mm Czech fire polish bead that came from the dollarbeadbox.com subscription some months back. I don't recall the name of the specific color, but you could possibly check their website to see if they still carry it! :)
Gina, what a nifty take on the wrap bracelet! I've been making quite a few of these ladder-type bracelets lately, and I just love the twist of combining with the Chinese knot closure, for a 3-section version. Do you know about how many inches of leather that knot takes up, at the diameter leather used? (Looks like 2mm, maybe 1.5?)
Thanks, Pat! It is a 1.5mm round cord, and the knot seemed to take up about 2" of cord per strand, not including the loop at the top, which varies depending on the size you need. Hope that helps!
@@ORCHIDandOPAL It absolutely should! I'm pretty stingy with my leather, and usually end up with little to no wastage, if I start out with the right length (once I've made something a couple times). Thanks so much!
Definitely! I love ebaying for bicones and rondelles, and think they could work just fine - rondelles probably a little better since they are more rounded. Thanks for watching!
That stinks! Perhaps making a knot first, then adding the wire coil over top? Or just making a knot of some kind? I'd have to experiment to be sure, though.
I think my mistake was using cotton cord - it drove me crazy at the finishing stages. I did the wire coil around the strands and it’s better though not perfect. I will buy some leather cord and try again!

Looks great. I was wondering how thick the cord should be.
Thanks, Karen! I used 1.5mm leather cord.

I like this style! I was thinking about wrapping the coil around after the cuff is done?
You probably could! Thanks for watching, Deborah!
Gorgeous cuff!!! Thanks much, Gina, it's always great and enjoyable learning with your tutorials; you're a great teacher! Blessings _/o\_
Thanks again, Lidia! Glad to have you watching!
I am obsessed with the pink beaded bracelet!! What beads are the center row of those beads??

Really cute bracelet , and I like the pink beads do you remember where you got those?🤗💖
Hi Mary! I am pretty sure they were from dollarbeadbox.com. :)

Can you use bicones or roundelles with this bracelet? I’ve been ebaying and got a lot of both styles of the beads listed above.
Definitely! I love ebaying for bicones and rondelles, and think they could work just fine - rondelles probably a little better since they are more rounded. Thanks for watching!
Can you suggest another way to finish the bracelet? I have tried the coil so many times and I can’t get it to hold!

Mary
Thanks, Mary! Like anything, just takes some practice.
Pretty bracelet, Question: did it take long to receive your order from beebeecraft.com and how much is shipping
Thanks! It only took about 4 days to receive my order, and many items are free shipping over $25 if you are in the US. Hope that helps!
