"The city's jumping. Crime running out of control. Same old song. No time to stop, no time to think- Brak'Em up! Run'Em in! Takem'Em out! Blow'Em down! Bag'Em up! Cart'Em off! Justice. Set it to the tune of "Rawhide". That's the song of the Judges. Tune in- or drop out". - Judge Dredd.
Good point, rather devoid of a message compared to the rest of the album. I think they put it on the record to sneer at a piece of Americana that they could get behind musically in a punked up way.
@@nicolaslarge7545 according to Jello this was intended to be a shot at the American war machine and their attitude towards "the enemy" being basically the same as cattle. The cowboy imagery fits pretty well with that idea, as do the lyrics about rounding them up and branding, etc.
The best cover ever of Rawhide.
Goddamn tapes rollin!!!
I played this song on percussion snare drum lol these were my old marching band days
Ok, and?
a masterpiece
One of the few songs aloud to rape my ears on full volume.

I’m listening to this on some shitty earphones but it doesn’t matter as all that matters is that this is the real shit
Each time they played in LA, Cops started to beating up the crowd outside!!
This should be the U.S. Army official song. Maybe America will win a war for reals like 1945. The present army song is a lullaby.
jello would be so pissed at you for even thinking that lmao
Hahaha 🤣 🎶❤️
Nah it with play rawhide, it won't play anything
j vadore
What's this song is about?
Apparently, if one's to read the lyrics the OP put in the description it's about a needing a sweet ride (Maserati).

It's a cover of the theme song for Western TV show Rawhide starring Clint Eastwood 1959-1965. It's about cowboy life, riding horses and branding cows.
Need to watch the ol tv show or at least the blues brothers movie to give ya a time frame. But The lyrics.. their just as they suggest. Yeehaw
