squad composition: - AoE caster (3x) - single-target caster (1x) - single-target medic (1x) - single-target sniper (3x) - guard (1x) - defender (2x) - Shaw - all of your 2 stars should be maxed out - all of your 3 stars should be Elite 1 Lv 20 at the very least, higher the better - make sure both of your defenders are a fairly high level (maxed out Noir and E1 Lv. 20 Beagle / Cuora) - your three snipers should be a fairly high level (Elite 1 and above) - if you choose to substitute a sniper for an AoE sniper, make sure your other two snipers still have the ‘target air units first’ trait or drones will get past them - level Melantha up. Elite 1 and up
Your 3rd AoE caster isn't necessary _(at least with Lava and 12F as the two other ones),_ so you can swap them out for Texas _(free dps)_ or any other op of choice. Yes, I am late for two years. No, I don't care.
Ok now this really helped me, my dumbass was trying to play this with normal units and not elite ones, the last group of mobs always pushed through and melantra didn't do shit lol

This is so disgustingly tight I can't watch it. The sneaks that can't be blocked especially look like they are escaping. But I still won with this setup. In fact this is the only setup I've tried so far that works. DP comes too slow for rare units. I only switched Beagle with Matterhorn. That's the only difference. Hooray for 12F and Lizard Man. Lava also worked better than Gitano or Skyfire because the lower DP cost lets Amiya's skill proc just a tiny bit sooner and just barely allows you to kill the fat boys before they kill your Defender.
I managed to make smoother by using Cuora elite1 skill2 at level 4 letting her sit comfortably against the axe boys she literally just laughs at them barely denting her. Then use Code Red for the switch rather Melantha with her at e1 s2 level 4 as well. Her stun on drop in lets her control the sneaks way easier. Code Red can be acquired from the free 5* ticket and Cuora is available at the red ticket exchange.
What I had to do was pre tap on the units I needed so it would slow down time till I place them, and then just place them the instant that you have enough CP during the tsunami of slugs
@@mdh3795 6 months late and someone probably already did this, but if you put Vanguar like for example in my case Fang in the place Shaw would be, she + sniper can fend them off and survive until you put down a Defender and by the time the slugs came, I managed to put Skyfire down and still have 6 spare, it also gives you a bit more wiggle room point wise in case you are using more expensive operators.
Great guide, thank you. Only thing I would suggest for people that want this to be auto safe is to wait for all the dogs to die before pulling up Noir Corne. Beagle still has enough time to charge her skill before it's needed. When I did this and pulled up Noir when the last dog was on a sliver, during auto play a half health dog made it out before Beagle was put down. The only difference in my team was E1 20 Meteor instead of Jessica. All team members had level 4 skills.
For those having problems due to lack of DP early (like those who only leveled high cost AoE Casters): you can bring a vanguard that refunds their DP cost on retreat and get DP on kills (like Vigna and Plume) and, AFTER dropping the first guard and sniper, drop the vanguard in the way of the dogs so they can grab a few points - then just retreat them for a refund and place your first AoE Caster
The level was easy to complete from your exact strategy but in Auto-deploy, a wolf always went through for whatever reasons. So, I improvised and started using Courier. Let him rest there for only 2 charges of his ability. Now, all's good.

You are a genius! I never thought to use Shaw that way. Thank you finally i made this mission DP Cost is problem if you have higher rarity roster. Thats why i changed one tank and one sniper to 2 vanguards and i used perfumer as medic. 8 operator enough for this setup if you got at least e1 roster. If you guys struggle with dp, just deploy 1 dp recovery vg before you deploy your main tank. I didnt use second vg but you maybe you would need it

Used this as inspiration with my own set up! --beginning is pretty much the same except with higher rarity units and I started with Texas instead of the defender. Used Texas's ability if Kroos couldn't kill drones in time (she always did but it scares me) --Extra DP from Texas used to drop in Curora --Cutting it close before swarm of slugs, use Texas ability to get more DP and drop in skyfire. --Drop in Shirayuki after part of slugs were killed --Instead of replacing curora, use Shirayuki and Skyfire as CC to slow and kill wraiths, also use Texas to kill anything that slipped through the cracks!
@@As-tray instead of rerolling for multiple 6 stars, i just got silverash and a bunch of five stars. Couldnt get a silverash + other 6 star acccount in 30 rerolls so i gave up and settled.
This is the kind of stage Eyjafjalla truly shines... her burst AoE (skill 2, not 3) attack really helps Lava and 12F cleaning up those slugs much, much faster! Also having E1 Meteor makes a huge difference, her AoE high damage plus that debuff also helps reducing enemy numbers.
I saw you had 9 units at the end and I was like how?!?! The limit is 8 but then I saw you used Lancet-2 for a healer and realized what you done. Thanks!

You need timing with this, down to the millisecond if you're using this squad. And you need your units to be promoted to the right level. And IT IS ESSENTIAL to follow the steps accurately.

Didnt know the bots didnt take unit slots. Even after seing it in the video checked their description and couldnt really find where it says they dont take unit slots in maps. Makes sense I guess. Ah nvm it's when you click the "Branch/Module" part: "[...] and ignores the Deployment Limit, but has long Redeployment Time"

Damn, thx for the strat ... I tend to completely forget Shaw when map have no hole/trap. To make thing easier, I used also AOE slow at the end with Shirayuki S2 instead of Jessica.
Great Job, though for some reason it doesn't like working on Auto-Deploy, for some reason the targeting changes during the dog phase and it means one of them is able to slip through. I fixed this by deploying Vigna on the top line while the Defender was dealing with 2 of the dogs (though Fang could also work). The idea is just to have the vanguard used kill one or two enemies, then immediately retreat them before the slug wave arrives and carry on as normal. It also prevents the sneaky doggo from slipping through by blocking them, so if your vanguard of choice is unable to kill one of the enemies, they can at least hold them long enough for Rangers+Defender to take out one, then retreat to recover the spent points.
Honestly trust shouldn't be an issue since trust doesn't(?) go down when you auto-deploy. The problem was that something that worked perfectly fine when done manually for some reason broke entirely on auto-pilot that copied the manual version exactly. It's not like I promoted my units making them cost more delaying deployments either. Even my quick fix of deploying a vanguard has had one failed run and I wasn't paying attention to what caused it. My guess would have to be one of the unblockable enemies managing to make it through by not getting blown back as far by Shaw out of sheer luck. I'd do more runs but I ran out of Sanity for the day. Or has my thinking gone entirely off the rails and it's just that Auto-Deploy happens to ignore trust and I don't know about it?

E1 Meteor is surprisingly good for this Light Cost, and her Armor Strip Penta Shot helps clean up the Slugs quicker so your Casters can be on the field just a bit sooner
After finally managing to 3-star this stage after 45 minutes of trial and error (lost about 17 stamina from restarting…) I wanted to see Kyo’s guide on this and I’m genuinely amazed at how he comes up with these strategies. I had to use my full E1 Level 30 team to complete this stage but all this time I never even once thought that Shaw would help in this stage. Wow. Great guide as always.
Thanks for this. I had to switch out Kroos for Shirayuki just to deal with the huge swarms. Especially those lurker enemies at the end. Otherwise,, worked like a charm!

So, personally, I couldn’t deploy Beagle at the right time to leave room for Shaw unless I put Lava down first, so I highly recommend doing that, because she’ll clear away the slugs really fast and give you a good DP boost from where you can put down whoever you want at that point (even more rare units, if you wanted). I also used a e1 lvl40 Kroos instead of Jessica and lvl45 Indigo instead of Amiya and they did their jobs super well (but having Melantha down in front of your defender definitely helps towards the end if you’re afraid of anyone going through). That’s all to say that your videos help a lot and especially when you have commentary and explain why you’re putting down the things that you are, I can start figuring which of my more rare units I could potentially substitute if I wanted (and which ones I really Really shouldn’t lol) - but getting to write that up makes me feel like I’m kinda slowly starting to understand this silly game ))

Thanks for pointing out the proper position of the Defender, and that pushing away enemies that get past the defender is the key strategy.

In my autodeploy all is working perfectly, maybe for your operators trust level, that gain some extra statistics

After finally managing to 3-star this stage after 45 minutes of trial and error (lost about 17 stamina from restarting…) I wanted to see Kyo’s guide on this and I’m genuinely amazed at how he comes up with these strategies. I had to use my full E1 Level 30 team to complete this stage but all this time I never even once thought that Shaw would help in this stage. Wow. Great guide as always.

So, personally, I couldn’t deploy Beagle at the right time to leave room for Shaw unless I put Lava down first, so I highly recommend doing that, because she’ll clear away the slugs really fast and give you a good DP boost from where you can put down whoever you want at that point (even more rare units, if you wanted). I also used a e1 lvl40 Kroos instead of Jessica and lvl45 Indigo instead of Amiya and they did their jobs super well (but having Melantha down in front of your defender definitely helps towards the end if you’re afraid of anyone going through).
That’s all to say that your videos help a lot and especially when you have commentary and explain why you’re putting down the things that you are, I can start figuring which of my more rare units I could potentially substitute if I wanted (and which ones I really Really shouldn’t lol) - but getting to write that up makes me feel like I’m kinda slowly starting to understand this silly game ))
