Great video Simon and Mike,, Cheers mates :) The motors I'm using are a little on the light side at 56mm diameter and 92mm long with 5200W, but they still have a good turn of speeds, The 56D 102L with 6300W motors seem to be the optimal for the power and runtime with these units, Simon has taken it to another level of the unknown :) Have a Great day Lads and Thanks again Mark
Nice 👍 Thank you Mark for helping me reach Simon and your great products. I hope we can do an interview with you as well when you are ready in future, just reach me out! Cheers! Please post your contacts if people want to order your jetpumps or other components.
@@JetSurfingNation Thanks Mike will do,, but I need to get up and running first,, I'm one man and a shed at the moment, and I'm also having to do other jobs to pay the bills,, I get a lot of emails but little on orders in comparison, it's very off putting, Cheers for the offer mate, hopefully in better times :) all the very best to You and Yours :) Mark
Should have asked me. I made one before him :-) I use the same jets. Same motors, same ESC's (2)..... Almost same board, and yes. I totally agree. Waterproofing is the hardest part of the build. With the old setup (yes I now have a V2 board) I got about 15 minutes riding at just over 30 km/h with 6S3P per motor. So. (22.4 volt 13500 mAh per motor). The new build will have 12S12P (270 amps / 11490 watt.. Li-ion)
Hard to say. I doubt it will provide enough energy to make it worthwhile plus it would make the surface easy to break and make whole thing much heavier.
what a coincidence, i also just uploaded a video telling that simon inspired me to build an electric surfboard :D Simon, check it out. Maybe it's interesting for you. I also go into the water leakage problem ;-). But on a different note, why don't you just buy a waterproof remote, it only costs 35$. Thanks again

is your board ready?
Would it be possible to intergrate a solar panel into the whole face of the board?
Hard to say. I doubt it will provide enough energy to make it worthwhile plus it would make the surface easy to break and make whole thing much heavier.
I hope when you leave the playroom you will do anythink important for the world with your knowledge.
