actually she grew up pretty privileged in Kenya. Her dad is a senator here and has been a well known professor and politician for years. She was born in Mexico when her dad sought political asylum there in the 80's. They came back to Kenya soon but I think she went back to mexico in her teens cz her parents wanted her to learn spanish or something like that.

I loved Adrienne's, Jeannie's, and most importantly, Tamera's response to this. Her reactions were perfect! More of this feisty and frankness may come from her pregnancy. The way she was shaking her head; she just tired of them stirring to an already stirred pot. Tamera offered a very simple [and classy] conclusion (which I presumably and totally believe could be it) of whether or not Lupita in actuality did not know who Kenya was. It's ridiculous in today's society if you simply do not find a person's music, acting, or attractiveness, etc. Or you honestly and simply do not like a person, you're a "hater". actually she grew up pretty privileged in Kenya. Her dad is a senator here and has been a well known professor and politician for years. She was born in Mexico when her dad sought political asylum there in the 80's. They came back to Kenya soon but I think she went back to mexico in her teens cz her parents wanted her to learn spanish or something like that.

I agree Kenya is not stable but people need to remember that Kenya has tweeted for about a year now how much of a fan she is of Lupita's. I sincerely think Kenya was just shocked by her b/c she admired Lupita for so long.

I agree with you. Regardless of knowing who Moore is or not, if someone respects your work, why dismiss them?
