Really breaking down the guts of the game. Nice insight. Thanks!

Thank you. Will you be doing a video on the ships? How production and readiness works... Things like which ones are better than others, with and without iron armor. Especially the river capable ones. Also things like flotilla composition for attacking forts.

Maybe. I've been hard pressed to think of topics I haven't covered. The naval component is one of those but it's one I'm not that familiar with myself. Up until now I either neglect it or use it to blockade or control the interior rivers.
      It's something to think about.

Thank you for sharing this. I looked into it and there are other things like campaign preferences and such things that can be edited too. I changed everything up so that I can play with a no step back setting where every unit holds till the last man has fallen. The ai does the same too and it is a lot of fun. I am going to try to make the morale decide how damaging one unit can be, like if one unit has low morale, they won’t attack but deploy to defend instead of running away or automatically lay down. This makes the game better but also bloodier as no one wants to back down.

That sounds good. I'm thinking about making my own "hardcore mode," which is really just reducing the view distance, so it's harder to know where the enemy is.

@@greatscots you could also implement something like laying down reduces the chance of your units getting spotted or a mode where you can change from the normal fire mode into one where the soldiers aim and make sure that they hit. I mean +30% accuracy for +30% reloading/aiming time.
