I don t have enough words to say thank you .All I can say you are a gift from the heaven.May God bless you during your whole life. Thank you very much.
Darling, you helped me score a 3 on my ATI Fundamentals exam today. I can’t thank you enough. 2 questions on this video alone. Your videos are such a blessing to me. God bless you and your family!!!
I was taught to use the prompt GAS when going up ( Gas rises. G = Good leg, A = Affected leg and S = Stick / crutch ). (Sag droops. SAG for going down stairs . S=Sticks/ crutch, A= Affected leg and G = Good leg. It’s a personal choice but I never refer to my left leg as my “bad’ leg - affected works for me and carry’s a hint of hopefulness. ) I fell off my crutches a year ago and broke my tibia on top of septicemia which damaged many of the muscles I need to walk. I started in a wheelchair, then moved to a walker and now I’m hoping to get back on crutches so thank you, thank you, thank you for the hints.
Hi Nurse Sarah! I took the exam last June 3, 2023. Got the results yesterday, and passed! I promised myself to leave a comment here after passing. Thank you so much for your videos! I learned a lot! A little background about me: I graduated 16 yrs ago, yr 2007. My first try was last Nov 2022 but failed at 75 items. Now at my 2nd try, I passed at 85 items. I watched some of your videos, along with Simple Nursing videos. Thank you again!
Hey Sarah, student physiotherapist here, your videos are amazing and straight to the point, you just earned yourself a new subscriber .... cheers I have my clinical exams tomorrow and this video has really been helpful in explaining all i needed to know about crutches.... thanks once again
I trust you, you will always have an illustration that will make someone to always remember."Good up","Bad down". You are no doubt a great teacher.God bless you again.
Sarah,I always trust your teaching because there's no way you won't make a description that will simplify the subject. You have made my day again with this one.God bless you.
Thank you so much Sarah, I have been struggling to find a demonstration and explanation on this topic that I could really understand, after watching this demo I understand completely. You are an angel. Thank you for your service of sharing your talent.
Thank you so much Sarah! This is my last semester in nursing and I have learned and relearned these crutches since Fundamentals but for some reason I kept forgetting the gaits and the order for walking! I wish I would've found this video sooner, but I'm glad I found it now because I think I'll never forget crutches again!
thank u so much for this video! i've been thinking of moving from cane to crutches bc i need more support but this has been the best source on teaching how to use crutches I found
Thank you, as always, for giving us and easy to understand explanation, and live demonstration as well. I was struggling to remember the different kinds of gaits using crutches, but now that I see them, I’ll remember. Thank you 😊 you’re the best 💗👍🏼
One of my least Favorite and confusing topic in nursing... thank you for making it simple and easier to understand. I do hope i will remember this if it come up on my exam.. Thank you
Thanks for the video. I am a hip replacement patient so I know this was made for nurses, but is is a great teaching so it helps me as well. This is my second hip replacement, but the last was 10 years ago, and it always makes sense to take a "refresher" class sine it is important. My in home PT has given me the OK to go from walker to crutches, so off I go. (don't worry....I will not overdue it :-) ) Thanks for the excellent video!
Seriously, This is the most confusing topic on nursing school and the worst explained. Thank you Sarah! Now I finally get it (after all those questions answered wrong lol)
My nephew was watching your video and while he was watching he was saying: “I’m trying to focus on the video, but I can’t help to keep noticing how captivatingly beautiful she is. Look at her eyes. I love all of her. She is smart, beautiful and articulate, wow!”
Thank you❤ I finished my phlebotomy program, but could not take Lab evaluation tests because of Covid-19. I am going to take it next week. That video was helpful.
I rolled my ankle after accidentally stepping on a big rock. I didn't break it, but I cannot put weight on it. My Daughter-in-law has crutches she's loaned me. I just forgot how to use crutches, thanks for this video!
