Benedict Cumberbach is my favorite reader. He has the perfect voice for a reader.
He also knows how to bring the stories he's reading to life.
Thank you for posting his work for us. 🍃
What a gift that Benedict has, great story teller and keeping the voices of each character consistently was perfect. Thank you gratefully appreciated.
I love the complicated characters, places and events! Great story and great reading! Will enjoy even more second time around ❤

Talk about a story alive! You are amazing and I thank you 🇿🇦
Benedict, Is So Great At Voices!!😊
I loved both the story and narration. BC is brilliant. Thank you.
Love these stories! So well read with all the correct intonations, and pacing for each character.
Great job !! Thank you . 😊
I adore Benedict Cumberbatch. He's such a fine actor, and his voice is wonderful. It lends itself admirably to audiobook narration. Having said this, I can't understand, for the life of me, why he pronounces Alleyn as Al-ayne. It's rather disconcerting. And the really strange thing is, he seems to have pronounced it correctly several times.
I heard various versions, including 'Eileen' and 'Alain' and 'A-Line'. Interesting. If there was an agreed upon pronunciation, I trust Cumberbatch would know it and use it. Just don't ask him to say 'penguin'. 😉
@@factsoverfiction7826heheh... Yes. The penwings.
That clip still cracks me up.
Not a great story; too many characters with way too many coincidences; but Mr Cumberbatch's reading is absolutely compelling.
If you have time, listen again; you may change your mind. 😊
Great performance of Mr. Cumberbatch
