What a match... As a Pole I got many heart attacks and cursed the whole match, because I was angry at some of the Polish players after some stupid mistakes. At the end I have to say congratulations to the both teams: both Poland and Brazil for the amazing game that kept us in suspense from the first to the last ball of the match. Also congratulations for Thailand for organising the great tournament and the great Thai volleyball fans. It is great sportsmanship I guess, but why don't you stop smiling for a bit and work harder and start climbing in the world rankings. Your positive energy is great and all, but it is not helping you, you keep losing. After a loss you should feel disappointed, angry, sad, etc., last thing you should do is to give out big smiles.
@@F355 Why don't we cheer for the Thai team? We always cheer and support our athletes. They have talent but we don't have quality coaches like other teams. When our athletes go to play in foreign leagues, they really shine. But when in the country, Thai coaches can't fix the game and always put them in the wrong position. Thai coaches are selected through a connection system. And the association is very bad. Thai people can only expel the association and demand foreign coaches.

The whole system should be changed, starting with the association president. It's amazing to see this in Thailand. Thai volleyball fans are incredibly nice. They have great culture and manners when cheering. They cheer for every team and every point with so much excitement. @@johno.7791 Onestly i don't agree. The modern volleyball (and victories related to modern volleyball) are based on "occasions" too. Brasil team is extremely extremely strong and i'm sure they will have a medal on Paris. It happens to lose against teams with a complitely different game. Ok Japan is not so physical...but the biggest characteristic of Japan game (defense a part) is the super fast game/fast attack...and brasilians middle blocker suffered a lot of that. They lost 2-3 against Poland and Japan...but it happens!!! Brasil performed a stunning VNL...and as i said, Brasil has a lot of incredible players...
It's a good match to watch. Well done Poland. It looked like the players and the supporters of each team had moments of doubt who'd be the winner. Lavarini and his team have done excellent job. They were able to select and coach a team of players from outside top 10 to the world top 4 within 2 years time. It must be disappointing for the Brazil fans to see the best group phase team returning home without a medal. The Olympic tournament will be very entertaining. There's at least 5 teams that may win a medal.

Czego oczywiście nikomu nie życzę, ale taki jest sport i może się zdarzyć. Poza tym turniej olimpijski to inna bajka, tutaj każdy może być faworytem i każdy może wygrać, tak się dzieje w każdej dyscyplinie sportu.
I feel sad for Brazil because they deserved so much more this year. But it was obvious that Poland wanted the medal more in the match. The Brazilian players' lack of motivation was visible on their faces. On the other side I was very happy to see that Poland, one of my favorite teams in VNL for a few years, is now playing tie break sets more effectively. I could already tell how hard Poland had practiced throughout the Turkish vs Poland match. But Gabi today was also on a whole another level. Like that one save she did with the Kick!!!! Both teams worked hard but it seems Brazil's loss against Japan seemed to have demotivated Brazil. Still, I congratulate both team!!! It was a joy to watch, probably one of the best ones I've ever seen.
The Brazilians, who made fun of the Turkish team and declared themselves champions before the game was played, left the League of Nations without even getting a bronze medal.
I didn't read any comments from Brazilians declaring themselves champions ahead of time, but I saw many Turks in the comments, after they won their first title, saying that a new era of dominance in volleyball had arrived. heartbreaking for Brazil, reminds me of my past game when I'm almost there winning the gold medal but because I was distracted by the thought that I might lose, at the most crucial part at that. Yeah, I must compose myself however, the fear prevailed and I lose. I haven't recover from that loss yet and the fact that I still have a game for silver medal made it even worse as the history might repeat itself, just like back then I'm playing for gold but lose and playing for silver but lose. I haven't regain my mindset and that lead me to lose the game heartbreaking, I just feel the same for Brazil but I know they have strong mentality unlike me, I hope they will think of that game as motivation to even work harder, to recover, and to comeback stronger, best wishes for team Brazil. What a match... As a Pole I got many heart attacks and cursed the whole match, because I was angry at some of the Polish players after some stupid mistakes.
At the end I have to say congratulations to the both teams: both Poland and Brazil for the amazing game that kept us in suspense from the first to the last ball of the match.

First of all, I would like to congratulate both teams for their fight. To be honest, I read a comment after yesterday's Brazil-Japan match that Brazil doesn't see most countries as rivals. It was pleasing to see such a score on top of such comments, so much so that some fans realized that every country has a chance and they should not be arrogant.

You guys are everywhere in the comments for other teams. After Thailand loses, Thai players are still smiling. Getting your pictures taken with the Brazilian team after you lost to them. It is great sportsmanship I guess, but why don't you stop smiling for a bit and work harder and start climbing in the world rankings.

@@F355 Why don't we cheer for the Thai team? We always cheer and support our athletes. They have talent but we don't have quality coaches like other teams. When our athletes go to play in foreign leagues, they really shine. But when in the country, Thai coaches can't fix the game and always put them in the wrong position. Thai coaches are selected through a connection system. And the association is very bad. Thai people can only expel the association and demand foreign coaches.

@@F355 We know that, but the Thai volleyball team does not receive enough support from the government. Thai volleyball players' salaries are less than the minimum wage. The whole system should be changed, starting with the association president. The most important thing is to change the coach to a foreign coach with potential. 90% of Thai fans have been calling for it on social media for years. We would also like to see the team go further. Many Thai fans even said that if there was a donation to support the Thai women's volleyball team, they would be willing to donate.

It's amazing to see this in Thailand. Thai volleyball fans are incredibly nice. They have great culture and manners when cheering. They cheer for every team and every point with so much excitement. After the matches, they even give gifts to the players. They treat athletes from all countries wonderfully and are as enthusiastic as if the athletes are famous celebrities. Love you Thailand. 🎉

@@johno.7791 Onestly i don't agree. The modern volleyball (and victories related to modern volleyball) are based on "occasions" too. Brasil team is extremely extremely strong and i'm sure they will have a medal on Paris. It happens to lose against teams with a complitely different game. Ok Japan is not so physical...but the biggest characteristic of Japan game (defense a part) is the super fast game/fast attack...and brasilians middle blocker suffered a lot of that. They lost 2-3 against Poland and Japan...but it happens!!! Brasil performed a stunning VNL...and as i said, Brasil has a lot of incredible players...

It's a good match to watch. Well done Poland. It looked like the players and the supporters of each team had moments of doubt who'd be the winner. Lavarini and his team have done excellent job. They were able to select and coach a team of players from outside top 10 to the world top 4 within 2 years time. It must be disappointing for the Brazil fans to see the best group phase team returning home without a medal.
The Olympic tournament will be very entertaining. There's at least 5 teams that may win a medal.

I could already tell how hard Poland had practiced throughout the Turkish vs Poland match. But Gabi today was also on a whole another level. Like that one save she did with the Kick!!!! Both teams worked hard but it seems Brazil's loss against Japan seemed to have demotivated Brazil. Still, I congratulate both team!!! It was a joy to watch, probably one of the best ones I've ever seen.

heartbreaking for Brazil, reminds me of my past game when I'm almost there winning the gold medal but because I was distracted by the thought that I might lose, at the most crucial part at that. Yeah, I must compose myself however, the fear prevailed and I lose. I haven't recover from that loss yet and the fact that I still have a game for silver medal made it even worse as the history might repeat itself, just like back then I'm playing for gold but lose and playing for silver but lose. I haven't regain my mindset and that lead me to lose the game heartbreaking, I just feel the same for Brazil but I know they have strong mentality unlike me, I hope they will think of that game as motivation to even work harder, to recover, and to comeback stronger, best wishes for team Brazil.
