It is clear that Turkey lost some momentum in their game since the start of this summer but this was expected for so many reasons, but I believe in this team and know that they will get through this phase and hardships soon. The fatigue for them is since the beginning of the competition as Turkey has been playing really bad. Just assume it, Turkey has no quality like Brazil didn’t have it last season. China won against Poland playing really well, after the same 5 sets against Turkey the day before, to not mention Canada 🇨🇦 who has unfairly played in completely dis vantage with Holland for a not well planned schedule, and examples could go on and on and on. I wonder what Volleyball world has against Brazil that they always undervalue our games. Brazilians waited for this game long enough after the provocations from Karakurt on social media throughout the year, to not mention the ones that she does in court and her knob coach. We played brilliantly.
I have never seen Varga get blocked so much .. I think there is a problem with this ... I watched Varga in the national team last year ... She was not blocked at all .. What happened to Vargasa in 1 year?
i think that Turkiye's lackluster defense and reception made it hard to convert into offense, thus making it easier for Brazil to mark Vargas and other spikers of Turkiye.
It’s not about Vargas. The reason is bad reception, because of that setter gives the worst ball to its opposite. In volleyball the most important thing is service and reception. Without these, no team can win. Our reception and service was terrible, we would still lose, even if our opponent was Korea. We couldn’t play, we were non-existent on Court.
Watching this match again and I realize how perfectly Brazil knows how to deal with Vargas, suddenly she doesn't become so big with them because they know how to neutralize her easily, they are probably the team that blocks Vargas the most (from what I see). She doesn't seem like a “big problem” for them like she is for other teams, I think the teams are getting used to Vargas' game now and that's why they are managing to nullify her (especially Brazil) last year she was new to the team, a new weapon, no team was familiar with her game, now the story is different. (no hate)

Although Vargas scored 31 points, Türkiye lost terribly. Because there was no reception, no defense. Poor service and too many unforced errors. Brasil won with teamwork and fewer mistakes. Their best scorer made 14 points, Gabi scored only 8. But they won, because Volleyball is a team game.

Turkey needs to be consistent on their outside hitters....in both vs china and vs brazil they were doing amazing at the start but once the outside hitters cant score they always go to vargas and boom vargas is blocked and the game is over.
