The only technical reason he’s ever had was maybe a doctors appointment, with bad news maybe, but besides that it’s the most MUNDANE daily tasks that everyone frigging has to do, and just never talk about. He really does act like some perfect world should exist where he does none of those things. Like he should be really rich and have assistants or something. Jim would tear him apart simply because it’s the correct thing to do. Detractor’s actions can be overboard at times, for sure, but the motivation of laughing at liar clown Phil is the correct one.
