@@FarmerHunt yes we like a good bit. We bought it new in 2019 and have ran it pretty hard. Of course, bigger is always better. So if we had bigger or another cutter, it would be better.
I’m about 100 miles southwest from you. We have had a krone big m 2 for the past 10 years and it was an awesome machine. We just sold and bought an low hour John Deere r450 windrower hoping it’s more reliable and parts are more accessible
As always beautiful sharing adventure documentary updated resume countryside content video and I really appreciate and enjoy watching your lifestyle documentary video channel .. keep it up and have a wonderful blessing weekend from Montreal QC Canada
Hey there - couple of questions- about your rye grass pasture. As I’m wanting to plant some next year. What is your soil PH? At what stage in the season - eg was it mid winter or late winter?did drill it? Thanks 😊
We haven't done a soil sample in a while. I'd have to look back and see what PH it is. We prefer to drill it in about October if it has cooled off and isn't too dry. If its dry we wait until we have enough rain to start drilling. We have also drilled some in early spring.
I like watching you boys interact. Ben, as far as what I'm cutting with, allow me to sum it up as follows: your Kuhn cost more than my old cutter abs tractor combined lol
Thank you!! 😂😂 We've been there. Fortunately Eric, his dad and I all work together with the cows and hay so that really helps when it comes to splitting up cost of equipment.
We usually cut around 5-6 mph. All depends on the terrain and also how thick the hay is. If we get to going too fast and hit an armadillo hole it'll throw you out of the tractor seat 😂😂
Hope everything went well for y’all! I mostly just listen to whatever is on the radio but they were playing some 90’s country jams the other day and I had it turned up! What about you?
I hope that you guys have a great hey season with at least 3 cuts and a blessing from above of 4 if you need it. Thanks for keeping us fed.
Thank you very much!
We run a Krone trailed TS 320 cutter. I agree with you Eric that it is nice to have that second cutter going.
Great video as always.
Thanks! That's a nice cutter. Do you like it?

We use a JD C300 moco. Honestly not needed since we do mainly haylage. But works really well for dry hay.
We are still a few weeks away from starting up here in VA. We mow with a New Holland H7230 discbine usually pulled by a 2955 or 7200.
Thanks for sharing. Hope y’all have a good hay season!
