When I hear pre-trib teachers mention the second coming. I like to ask them a question. The Lord himself said he would RETURN as a THIEF. Is this when he comes in the clouds or to the earth?

You take those verses out content. There are 7 resurrections in the NT. Five will take place before the millennium which is called the First resurrection in Rev 20:5. Then after the millennium, all of those not resurrected will be raised at that time, Rev 20:5. The two stages represent those who are chosen, the good ones, from those who were not chosen, the bad ones. They are not resurrected at the same time.

Those who are evil and have died, have gone to hell already, and on judgement Day, they will be caught up to Heaven to be Judged, officially. The church may go through hard times to refine and purify it. Prepare to endure to the end to be saved, like Jesus said.
