Brilliant! I must attest, a prayer in the checklist? Absolutely fantastic! This made my day. Spent plenty of time in rotary wings, former brush monkey, captain, crew boss. Super Hueys, UH1H / Bell 205. The EC is a lovely bird.
Liked the familiar shimmy as the rotor comes to speed. Hover check, and get to business! Safe flights, guys!

Way back in June, 1997, I was a 2 pilot crew who ferried a BH-412 from Denver-Centennial (KAPA) to KHEF. Saw a lot of country along the way. Switched from the BH-412 to the Pilatus PC-12 and haven't flown a rotary wing since. I guess that 4400 hours was enough in 35 years? Ended a 60 career (Army and Civil) with 8500 hours and no accidents. Great flying choices, though. Night EMS scene work was the most difficult; before NVG was the norm.

I just found this channel. For years I’ve tried to pray every time I’ve heard the helicopter medevac etc. or sirens not knowing the situation or what happened. About 18 months ago I had a pretty nasty accident and I was on the receiving end of a bunch of silent prayers. People told me that was a miracle that I lived .

I flew on King Air E 90's fixed wing all over the sourthwest U.S and then I was fortnunate to be offered a Helicopter Flight RN job in West Central Wisconsin. I was a flight RN for 10 years and flew with Excellent Paramedics and other Flight RNs during those years. It was an awesome job! Imagine flying in a very small Intersive Care Unit.
