This graph looks as perfect as it gets, WOW 😮! I'm so looking forward to receiving the Dahlia! 😂 man I have the same problem every time, it's so hard to stop listening to music during QA! These are nice recommendations, thanks so much!
I'm glad you liked the graph! I really enjoyed building and QA'ing our headphone. It's been dropped off at UPS and it's on the way to you! I hope you receive it safely and quickly. Drop some of your test tracks here too!
@@HIFIFORALL To be honest my test tracks change quite often, it depends what I'm into at the moment. But right now I'm typically going through: - Forever - Mildlife - Playa playa - D'Angelo - Didn't Cha Know - Erykah Badu - Wildflower - Nostalgia 77 Octet - Hackers - Metrik - Welch ein Zufall - Uschi Brüning - Time Limit - Casiopea - The Phoenix Lifelike Remix - Pyramid
Thank you for the kind words of encouragement. It's been a labor of love, and I hope you enjoy your Dahlia for many years. Isn't it a great track? I think it really shows off the Dahlia's imaging and staging capabilities. The reverb seems to go off into the distance for miles, the hand percussion feels deep and impactful, and the vocals have a very nice natural timbre. The plucking of the strings is so precise, and when the low bassline comes in at 1:40, it feels warm and comforting.
this really is a great product, some feedback i have tho is i would love to see the connectors being a little recessed or even having a locking mechanism (for durability) and id love to see some color options or cup parts you can swap out in the future, I really love the work you have been doing especially with the dahlia, keep it up brother!
Thanks so much and great feedback as well! The current socket doesn't have any room available for a recess (see the Socket video in the build series), and I wanted to keep the socket as small as possible to reduce hanging weight and create a more sleek appearance. Re: a locking connector, I chose a non-locking 3.5mm because in the event the cable is suddenly yanked, the connector will just pull out rather than rip the headphone off your head. Early prototypes had a locking Lemo connector but while someone was testing them, they were dancing and accidently stepped on the cable and the headphone flew off and was destroyed. I switched to 3.5mm connector after this incident. Would love to explore some color options down the road, and would be amazing to have the ability to swap pieces out. Thanks!
@@HIFIFORALL that makes sense! ive just had headphones in the past where the dual socket gets some type of short that would be "fixed" momentarily by rotating the cable or moving it, thats my only worry! but i love to see your passion project come to life and am excited to see where HFA goes in the future!
In the great words of Wayne Campbell, “oh yes…it will be mine…it will be mine.” 😂

Thank you for working so hard to get the pre-orders out on time! I enjoyed your music recommendations as well. "The Water Poem" is pretty neat.

Appreciate the additional list of tracks to listen to with the Dahlia! I'll have to take some time to explore those songs.
Great build series, great headphones - although my kid ate all my gummy bears! 😖
Thank you so much for joining me for the build series! Sorry about the bears though. I should have sent more.
