    That’s awesome you are running R8 coils. I’m running them on my S4 and it helped smooth my idle out as well as make sure my spark stays strong.

      Coach Mcguirk the coils are good to replace with the spark plugs every 40k but if you don’t have any issues with your injectors you dont need to replace them.

    thats the base spring, you always keep that spring in there. you add the bigger springs to adjust when it opens.

  • @ttviperv10
    @ttviperv10 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Big Boost if you add boost pressure on the fitting on the top of your wastegate with a boost controller you do not have to change your wastegate. Or change your Springs anymore just read up on Boost controllers in external wastegate and you'll find everything you need to know. Keep boosting man good job.

    You still haven't fixed the problem with heat in relation to the coils. You need to physically heat shield them from the turbo and downpipe.

    How come you haven't vented the hood? I'm sure that would drop temps in the bay

    • @magnetic0314
      @magnetic0314 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      JDMovation vented hoods don't do a lot, he needs to use more heat shielding and physical insulation and barriers to keep engine bay heat under control. There should be a heat shield to protect the coils lined with golf reflective tape, and heat sleeving on all hoses.

    sounds cool, go for e85, i still have my original fuelsystem ( lines and fuelrail) i have 1000cc injectors and a wahlbro 450 in tank and i got 637whp 830nm with a BW 60/66 mm turbo and 2.8L stroke. But dont forget to "knock" your sparkplugs to 0.40mm or you will have a missfire of doom .

    @Alberto BIGBOOST you should never have to use a silicon sealant for your valve cover brother. Just buy a good gasket preferably oem or oem rated and used that. If for some reason that one leaks as well then you should most likely look into a new valve cover as yours may be warped or damaged in some way. Keep up the great videos bro!
