I was going to ask about the Sunset Cork Room as I've been meaning to try that as it is a bit hidden away but I just looked it up and see that it is outta biz now sadly... I guess it was too hidden away.
@@NOLAGent1 Yes, they sold the building and are putting something else in that location. The Sunset Corkroom is reopening though at the Gulf Shores Zoo location and will be called Savannah's I think. It was AMAZING when it was Sunset Corkroom so I am hoping the new place has the same food.
Big Fish used to be on our always visit list for vacations, but has fallen off (simply because there are so many places we love to go). Tell people that come down for the first time, to go there and not e discouraged by the strip mall entrance. Always ask what the Market Price is! That is a fun little mistake that you will make only once.
Cobalt isn't all that expensive and it's by far the best restaurant out there after FiveSixty in dallas closed. The views, atmosphere, and walks along the boat docks are what make the restaurant incredible.
Agree the atmosphere is incredible. Food is good. But it is a bit pricey compared to some of the other restaurants in the area that cater to locals. This however is merely our opinion. You local?
@@obaliving - No but I have vacationed at Orange Beach every year for the last couple of decades. It's paradise. Especially when we come, which is after labor day. I'm not sure I would want anything to do with Orange Beach during high season. I could not even imagine the crowds and the traffic.
@@Nikotromus Yeah it does get a bit crowded in the summertime....LOL. You have to figure out how to navigate around all the traffic and when to go to the grocery and such. LOL
@@obaliving - I would LOVE to retire there one day. I've been all over the country, to Europe and to South America. If I had to choose my top place to be, it would still be Orange Beach. You are truly blessed by having the privelage of living there.

COBALTi s our fav! We have always experienced a long wait -( in season ). We have waited 3 hours before...yet, still worth it!

Yes. Upstairs and downstairs both closed. As well as Playa. And Fresh off the Boat closed as well.
