I agree with the academic excellence..but for surgical fields, the hands-on experience for pg students is very poor..and i consider practical skills more important than theory
Being a Resident in Ophthalmology at AIIMS, I can guarantee that Aiims has the best Ophthalmology residency not only in India but also in Asia. It's globally famous (many of my seniors migrated abroad & said the same). Morever the surgical hands on that u get here incomparable to any other institute in India. Its not only the sheer quantity but also quality. Our residents perform FLACS & Lasik surgeries that no other govt institute in India offers. Hands down its the best

If given a choice i would definitely prefer an institute which will cultivate and improve my skills than my knowledge..cuz I feel there's no limit to knowledge in modern medicine but there's a limit for how much you can train a person practically and I'm afraid that limit is far too low for AIIMS..i don't want to end up like a resident who has assisted in 25 or 50 lap chole but a resident who has performed atleast 1 independent lap chole.. I apologise if i have outspoken myself. As an Aiimsonian i feel I should present a neutral opinion about my institute..

I think main reason for these is that People work literally hard to come to aiims delhi to study and have fun and not to be toxic towards others Whereas some reservations allow the poor marks students to enter in the college and they dont value the same.

Then why does this best institute students need reservations? Regarding the constant tendencies of aiims doctors to post video on why it's best the umpteenth time.......can you elaborate? Everyone know it's the best.....no need to overstate it...but in a country like India where there is so much competition to get into even a govt medical college, these repetitive videos won't help cz aiims Delhi has very limited seats....and not every brilliant student will get a seat. I know that in order to succeed you have to think n imagine about the best but just thinking about the best don't help....you must encourage them to just do best with whatever resources they have n just give their 100 percent....and also teach them how to handle setbacks and failures cz there will be many......Aiims students are making an atmosphere here as if getting into aiims is the only thing in life and anything below that is just useless...it's not only you, it's almost every aiims student especially the undergraduates out there..everybody preaching students to get into aiims Delhi but no body is telling them about the setbacks n failures that are in the way and how to handle failures and it's okay if you can't get into aiims.....it's not the end of life.

Focus on chemistry and biology with full potential of yours (if you consistently don't perform well in physics) With full potential means u r atleast getting 340+ in bio and 140+ in chemistry By this u r like 480-500+ Now confidence and self analysis comes into picture Like u hv managed 500 from 200! Shoot for physics (as suggested by Dr Aditya) Go for topic which are more maths based like Modern physics (same pattern questions come every year) Semiconductor Optics Thermodynamics (both in chem and physics) By this you ll manage atleast 550-580! Most importantly all this will only sound practical if you complete chem and bio anyhow from ncert by mid of June or late June! And atlast solve pyqs and previous papers as many times as possible... Good luck!
Bro, listen to me, I'm serious It's too difficult to do, forget about scoring 600+, but try scoring as high as you can, TH-cam, social media sab band kar do, and prepare for NEET 2023, Dekho agar NEET 2022 me 400+ score kar diye, tab next time you'll be motivated to score even 680+, just do what is most important 1. Buy 3 very thick notebooks ( PCB) 2. Start making notes from umeed 1.0 of physics wallah (make complete and simple notes), For Physics and Biology ummed series is enough 3. Complete your notes of all 98 chapters in a sequential manner by the end of this year (trust me it's not difficult and clearly possible, you have to be consistent) 4. In the mean time solve atleast 10 questions from physics and chemistry everyday and 50 questions from biology everyday, and increase this (increase it at a later stage) (You can buy NEETprep catalyst batch for question bank ₹2000-3000) 4. Give regular mock tests, and also give this NEET 2022 as a test and try scoring as much as you can.

8-10 hours is enough. But you yourself have highlighted - the most important part - Consistency.

Then why does this best institute students need reservations? Regarding the constant tendencies of aiims doctors to post video on why it's best the umpteenth time.......can you elaborate? Everyone know it's the best.....no need to overstate it...but in a country like India where there is so much competition to get into even a govt medical college, these repetitive videos won't help cz aiims Delhi has very limited seats....and not every brilliant student will get a seat. I know that in order to succeed you have to think n imagine about the best but just thinking about the best don't help....you must encourage them to just do best with whatever resources they have n just give their 100 percent....and also teach them how to handle setbacks and failures cz there will be many......Aiims students are making an atmosphere here as if getting into aiims is the only thing in life and anything below that is just useless...it's not only you, it's almost every aiims student especially the undergraduates out there..everybody preaching students to get into aiims Delhi but no body is telling them about the setbacks n failures that are in the way and how to handle failures and it's okay if you can't get into aiims.....it's not the end of life.

With full potential means u r atleast getting 340+ in bio and 140+ in chemistry
By this u r like 480-500+
Now confidence and self analysis comes into picture
Like u hv managed 500 from 200!
Shoot for physics (as suggested by Dr Aditya)
Go for topic which are more maths based like
Modern physics (same pattern questions come every year)
Semiconductor
Optics
Thermodynamics (both in chem and physics)
By this you ll manage atleast 550-580!
Most importantly all this will only sound practical if you complete chem and bio anyhow from ncert by mid of June or late June!
And atlast solve pyqs and previous papers as many times as possible...

It's too difficult to do, forget about scoring 600+, but try scoring as high as you can,
TH-cam, social media sab band kar do, and prepare for NEET 2023,
Dekho agar NEET 2022 me 400+ score kar diye, tab next time you'll be motivated to score even 680+, just do what is most important
1. Buy 3 very thick notebooks ( PCB)
2. Start making notes from umeed 1.0 of physics wallah (make complete and simple notes), For Physics and Biology ummed series is enough
3. Complete your notes of all 98 chapters in a sequential manner by the end of this year (trust me it's not difficult and clearly possible, you have to be consistent)
4. In the mean time solve atleast 10 questions from physics and chemistry everyday and 50 questions from biology everyday, and increase this (increase it at a later stage)

4. Give regular mock tests, and also give this NEET 2022 as a test and try scoring as much as you can.
