    First thumbs up!!! Bob Tiffin is a very nice guy. He will take calls and talk to a customer any time!!

      I agree. I find it very easy to recommend Tiffin Motor Homes because the product is good and the company is too.

    After watching your Tiffin roof inspections, I now realize why I have never got a call to seal rain leaks on a Tiffin product. I have talked to Bob Tiffin several times on the phone and got to meet him once. He is a really down to earth guy.

      That's way I always recommend Tiffin RVs. I think they're pretty too.

    Thanks James.... Expandable Ladder looks to be handy design. I will need ladder for the RV we buy. Thanks Again. If it fits in a Prius , should fit in my F-350 or the toy hauler.

    Looks like you had something to say about the Mercedes Sprinter chassis, but held back. I would love to hear what you think of them and the newer Ford Transit based RV's.

    • @AZExpert
      @AZExpert  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I love the Sprinter diesel chassis, I think it's proven itself as a durable heavy duty platform after decades of service. I'll have to look around for a transit based unit to compare. thanks

    What I really appreciate from your videos is how you are honest about designs and products! Thats getting harder and harder to find! Keep up the great work! An idea for a future video(s) would be to cover the various roof materials and sealants, what can work on what surfaces, with each other and the pros and cons of each kind. While you always give great tips and suggestions, they are spread throughout multiple videos and roof leaks seem to be the biggest problem to protecting an RV or Trailer.

      I appreciate that!

    The Nuflex on that one looked odd. Almost like it was not self leveling. Tons of “beads” instead of one continuous smooth application.

      Sometimes it sets up quicker in heat, but I know what you mean.

    The plastics look a lot older than 2 yrs old, especially the skylight

    Have you done a video where you show the different brands of roof sealants so we would know to use as touching up the cracks on the roof?

    • @AZExpert
      @AZExpert  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've been trying to put together a series on different roofs, and recommend what I would use on them. Thanks

      @@AZExpert I have a 2019 Navion 24D that i was thinking about trading for a Tiffin Wayfarer. Love the small size / sprinter chassis. Good idea?

    I like to put something between the ladder and the coach's finish where they touch,especially high end units. But I'm 75 lbs heavier than u.
    Love ur work.

    • @AZExpert
      @AZExpert  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats a good point, this ladder has rounded legs and rubber tips. I try to land somewhere that won't be damaged thanks!

    We looked at that model Tiffin but that Mercedes has no CCC especially with the quality cabinets in it. Great coach but just don’t put anything in it.

    • @AZExpert
      @AZExpert  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I heard that they were heavy units too.

      I read the latest jw 25 had 1170lbs indicated on the sticker cargo in one of the review video which is better than a majority of travel trailers. It is good to me, especially with the quality stuff in it. You csn put two persons a dog full propane tank a good amount of water, probably 200lbs and 200lbs cargo. I would use lithium battery half the weight if agm /lead acid and probably add a second battery and one extra 190w panel. 1170lbs is not huge but enough. And it is always possible to reduce the water. If you need more cargo you can add a small cargo trailer with the 5000lbs hitch (which is more around 4200 with the GCWR) but still enough to bring a lot more.

    I would add some uv stable loom and cable tie downs to cable running across the roof to the antenna.
