Park hoy shin's songs-voice never fail to bring me to tears..... He is a professional singer with 20 years of experience.. (to me) he is one of the best vocalists in the entire world... I listen to Korean music often but when it comes to memorizing songs. I know non but his songs.. So, when my friends ask me to sing them a Korean song.. I am always like, I know only PHS's, I can't. I’ve been a fan for close to 11 years, had the luck to see him live various times, firstly in 2012 and again last year went to 3 of this set of “lovers” concerts ...1st time seeing him i cried for 30 mins straight because of how unreal it is to hear him, truly Park Hyo Shin live upclose and indoors hits you like a truck. His voice is powerful, touching, angelic, soothing, so many words i could use to describe him, always after those concerts i feel like my soul was cleansed, besides his singing he is such an amazing humble hard working sweet funny kinda shy and introverted human being who has overcome many hardships, maybe because of this he makes his concerts very personal and uplifting. Many of his latest tracks have been co-written and produced by him and his musical partner Jung Jaeil (the pianist im the wildflower video). Thank you for this reaction, it makes me very happy, as a soultree (his fanclub official name) when his talent and music gets recognized.

Park Hyo Shin is also an amazing songwriter himself. In fact, he's been composing songs since his debut in '99. After his mandatory military service, he began collaborating w best friend/fellow musician Jung JaeIl (they served MS together) who often serves as his accompanist (piano, guitar) in concerts. Due to Jung Jae Il's background in classical music, many of their compositions are characterized by gorgeous orchestral arrangements. Friends lucky enough to attend PHS concerts often describe it as a healing transcendent auditory experience where you sit submerged in the most heavenly surround-sound music for 4-5 hrs and just FEEL.
I would love to be able to be at a live concert of his. I imagine it would be surreal to be in the midst of thousands of people who sit in silence and just listen to this man sing his heart and love to his "lovers".

This video is from one of later songs he sang during a concert in July that ran over 5 hours in length. He also performed Wildflower and another song (Sound of Winter) in a set that were quite lovely. During his performance, he ranges from ballads to rock to jazz. It is a relatively large stadium, but he has an incredible sound system. You are right my friend, he is a LEGEND. He is heaven on earth. The song that moved you so much is a song that means a lot to him and makes him always cry every time he sings it. So, even though he is superb in bringing emotion to all of his songs, Wildflower is in a total different level of emotion because of what it means to him.

I've been a fan of Park Hyo Shin for over 10 years. I listened to the studio version of the song and was disappointed that the song lacked the passion that he's put into his other works. Then I saw the live one, and felt the same, except for the one breakdown and I'm like, yes, please, go back to that. He is a technically masterful artist, but what makes him so great is that heart. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed. I feel like the label might be trying to pigeonhole him into a very airtight kind of sound, and this is evident from around 2007 onward. His recordings from the early 2000s are amazing. I'd recommend them over his more recent work. I hope he goes back to that form one day. He sounds better and honestly, it seems like he enjoys singing that way more as well.

Park Hyoshin is one of those singers you can't believe they're singing live because they don't open their mouths a lot to sing. Mamamoo's Wheein is often like that, which goes to show just how solid their technique is that they don't even need to put in much effort lol. Park hoy shin's songs-voice never fail to bring me to tears..... He is a professional singer with 20 years of experience.. (to me) he is one of the best vocalists in the entire world... I listen to Korean music often but when it comes to memorizing songs. I know non but his songs.. So, when my friends ask me to sing them a Korean song.. I am always like, I know only PHS's, I can't. Haha (따라 할 수가 없어 ㅋㅋ) There is not a single live performance of him that you wouldn't like.

I’ve been a fan for close to 11 years, had the luck to see him live various times, firstly in 2012 and again last year went to 3 of this set of “lovers” concerts ...1st time seeing him i cried for 30 mins straight because of how unreal it is to hear him, truly Park Hyo Shin live upclose and indoors hits you like a truck. His voice is powerful, touching, angelic, soothing, so many words i could use to describe him, always after those concerts i feel like my soul was cleansed, besides his singing he is such an amazing humble hard working sweet funny kinda shy and introverted human being who has overcome many hardships, maybe because of this he makes his concerts very personal and uplifting. Many of his latest tracks have been co-written and produced by him and his musical partner Jung Jaeil (the pianist im the wildflower video). Thank you for this reaction, it makes me very happy, as a soultree (his fanclub official name) when his talent and music gets recognized.

Park Hyo Shin is also an amazing songwriter himself. In fact, he's been composing songs since his debut in '99. After his mandatory military service, he began collaborating w best friend/fellow musician Jung JaeIl (they served MS together) who often serves as his accompanist (piano, guitar) in concerts. Due to Jung Jae Il's background in classical music, many of their compositions are characterized by gorgeous orchestral arrangements. Friends lucky enough to attend PHS concerts often describe it as a healing transcendent auditory experience where you sit submerged in the most heavenly surround-sound music for 4-5 hrs and just FEEL.

To me one of his most beautiful songs is breath, the song itself is composed beautifully and his voice (+lyrics) makes it even better.

This video is from one of later songs he sang during a concert in July that ran over 5 hours in length. He also performed Wildflower and another song (Sound of Winter) in a set that were quite lovely. During his performance, he ranges from ballads to rock to jazz. It is a relatively large stadium, but he has an incredible sound system. I’m so picky with voices. First time I listened to Park Hyo Shin was probably 15 years ago or so and I was astonished by his voice and I could never hit pause
You are right my friend, he is a LEGEND. He is heaven on earth. The song that moved you so much is a song that means a lot to him and makes him always cry every time he sings it. I've been a fan of Park Hyo Shin for over 10 years. I listened to the studio version of the song and was disappointed that the song lacked the passion that he's put into his other works. Then I saw the live one, and felt the same, except for the one breakdown and I'm like, yes, please, go back to that. He is a technically masterful artist, but what makes him so great is that heart. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed. I feel like the label might be trying to pigeonhole him into a very airtight kind of sound, and this is evident from around 2007 onward. His recordings from the early 2000s are amazing. I'd recommend them over his more recent work. I hope he goes back to that form one day. He sounds better and honestly, it seems like he enjoys singing that way more as well.
