Yes, other people have made MVs in the middle of the desert, but Park Hyo-shin’s MV does it without all the special effects, editing, backing music, etc. Who needs live performances on shows when you can do it in the MV? Filmed in black-and-white, the MV is no-frills and just done as a way of showing the sincerity of the song itself. Also, it leaves out all the extra instruments: it’s just Park Hyo Shin and the piano. This complete lack of what you would normally expect in a MV is what makes “Wild Flower” so great. It’s simply about the music.
If you guys really couldn't believe this is his true voice, I'd strongly recommend you to react to his live performance of this song. I'm not up to date anymore about Korean artists in general, but I used to listen to drama OST very often so I could know other genres besides kpop and try to look them up for myself. Outside South Korea I feel it's really hard to see people searching for Korean music if not the kpop genre, which is a shame. Other names I recommend: Lee Soo Young ,Tei, Younha, Lee Hi.. and the R&B artists too that I like a lot..

Park Hyo-shin decided not to sing because his life was so sad, painful and difficult. Then one day, I wanted to sing like crazy, so the song I made was Wildflower. There is an anecdote that when former US President Clinton visited South Korea, former President Moon Jae-in invited Park Hyo-shin to a dinner party and sang wildflowers.
It was recorded live. The vocals you hear and the piano were recorded there.
Don't worry about that. He is already national treasure level in South Korea.
