Tried this recipe, DYNAMITE! I’ve never had corn cakes before. I used frozen cornels since it’s winter. I’ll try fresh in Summer. A party in my mouth! Thanks for this doable recipe. I put butter & maple syrup on top.
These are the closest I’ve seen to the ones my grandmother used to make. The batter was similar to a crepe consistency but that appears to be the only glaring difference . It’s been years since I’ve had them but I’m going to make these. Thanks for bringing back some really good memories as well as sharing your version of them. Cheers!!!!!
These look alarmingly delicious! Made for a drizzle of REAL maple syrup! Thanks for sharing! I think that we have the beginnings of a good weekend brunch - right after a cup O'Joe!

+porkulate Brunch sounds great, enjoy :)
I hope those are close to the ones my Mom made when I was a kid. I loved them
Semolina flour works well too if you don’t have any cornmeal. Perfectly delish with no sugar, i added a few chicken stock cubes.
Just make Bisquick pancake mix and add well drained frozen corn and shredded cheddar cheese and minced green onions......boom you got it.
Just made these. They were wonderful. I served them with bacon
Perfect 👌
The corn ve to steam first before mix with the powder?
Hi, yes the corn should be cooked before adding to batter 😀
does this count as a sweet or savory dish?
Hi, if I serve it with maple syrup, then sweet - otherwise it can count as savory. In general, I would say most people count them as sweet 😀
AnitaCooks is it okay if I blend the corn or the pancake batter?
