Synopsis:
It tells an inspirational story of how a group of young people grew up, chased their dreams and struggled in their life during the 1970s reform era in China. Xiao Chun Sheng (Xiao Zhan) along with his two buddies Ye Guo Hua (Liu Rui Lin) and Chen Hong Jun (
Cui Hang), are children of military families and government workers who grew up in the same courtyard. They share many experiences like joining the army, taking the college entrance examination, going into business, starting their own business, going abroad and entering politics. They also meet Tong Xiao Mei (Li Qin), a Beijing girl pursuing her dreams of becoming a doctor, and their destinies were closely intertwined...

No words to congratulate every one and very grateful for the oportunity to watch this wonderful serie. Not only XiaoZhan but every Actor and actress did and excelent performance, I really cried a Lot but now in the end I'm really crying of happiness, life is not always a sad dramma, there are SO much to care about, but specially our families, Do good always in life no matter what and in everything we do, it's always what make us feel joy and peace. I like the end a Lot. Chunseng and the greatest characters of all of them... Xiaomei...show us that we can do good to everyone ...Even our enemies or those who sometimes hurt us. They show us that there's always second and many oportunities to change misbehave, weakness and Bad habits, that's up to each person but we still have to threat them Well and forgive them. Life Will always reward those who do Well, what a Nice and happy end. Excelent performances 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🇧🇴Thanks and congratulations to the director and all the staff and to this channel to let us the people from abroad to be part of these wonderful work. this is the most wonderful,satisfying Drama I have watched in a long time! EVERYTHING was excellent! The carefully chosen settings, the costumes,the story! I fell in love with Xiao Zhan - Xiao Chun Sheng, but the whole cast was just great. Their acting was so natural and in harmony with each other.I loved the romance between ChunSheng and XiaoMei. The ups and downs in life that have been brought to us. THIS DRAMA had all I wanted and more. I had the best time watching it and I will miss ChunSheng and his family and friends dearly. Congratulations to this Masterpiece and THANK YOU for bringing it to us! I truly hope Xiao Zhan can do a Drama like this once a gain ... one day 💖💖💖
Since the very beginning I loved how Tong Xiaomei fell for Xiao Chun Sheng and how persevere and positive was always toward him. She really deserved his love most definitely, and they really deserve to be happy at the end. They taught me a very valuable lesson, patience, perseverance, always pays off and never giving up.

This was one of the best drama series, Xiao Zhan’s role was brilliant, awesome, enlightening, portraying heart touching human drama, encouraging the young to strive harder in life, with a wide range of emotions, early episodes reminded me a bit of West Side Story, at times heart wrenching. Zhan’s and Li Qin, rock, l loved Zhan’s hairstyle in episode 25, he looked more handsome and debonair. I was soooooo happy when Chunsheng started courting Li Qin, they made a perfect couple, unlike Hongling, to me she seems calculating and selfish. Guohou was loving and always loved her, both Chunsheng and Guohou remained good friends in the end after his divorce from Hongling. No words to congratulate all the actors, they were all great in their roles, kudos to the brilliant Writers, Producers, Directors, the Crew 👍👍👍💕 l cried in some of the episodes, a lot in the finale, thank you for a happy ending even though it was brief, wish it was one or two happy ending episodes. 😊😊😊 Thank you for the English Subtitles. 🙏🙏🙏
This has got to be one of the best modern cdramas I've watched so far. Kudos to the director, crew and cast who produced this drama! 💜 The consistency, reliability, and maturity of character qualities of Chunsheng, Xiaomei, Qi Tian, Yanqiu, Fang, to name a few, is the glue that held them and friendships together.
And within the blink of an eye, 30 years have passed. We can only hope that we live our lives to the fullest potential with the clearest of consciences like Xiao Chunsheng and Tong XiaoMei. And if dire lapses in judgment are made, we would still be able to have a somewhat still satisfactory ending like Ye Fang, GuoHua, and HongLing. A beautiful and touching drama. Thank you director, scriptwriter, actors, producers, editors, videographers, musicians, and crew!
This drama will really encourage the young to strive harder in life , no matter how hard or difficult life is , and the role of Xiao Zhan here expresses clearly how great he is how he cares towards his friends , he knows how to share a helping hand towards his friends, and in the end you can also see how he’s also being blessed by God for being so gracious to others . What emotional episode love it it make me cry went she got infected,went you are in a situation like that and you have the support of your family and friends you get true anything is throw you way this episode hit close to my heart,I work in a hospital and is really tough very hard times, what can I say amazing episode and the actors brilliant amazing performance,love every minute of it thank you so much with love❤❤❤❤❤

The end of a great story and a great production. Throughout the whole journey of the story I laughed and cried but it also made me reflect a lot and deeply about friendship and the bonds that in the journey of life takes hold, something that I recognize and identify myself in Xiao Chunsheng is the respect, honor and loyalty to others, the longing and hope is something that this drama leaves in me. I never thought this drama would be so good. The complexity of the characters and the plot really surprised me. After 38 episodes, over 30 years have gone by. So much happened, yet this episode is the one most close to my heart.
A lot of the morals and messages that I could take away were described so beautifully in the scenes and dialogues. I've lived through only two decades of life, yet I could see myself in each of these characters and the struggles they went through.
Having the right people by your side, finding joy in the small and simple things, doing things the right and humble way, and living with a spark in your heart and never giving up is all you need. I'm so happy that everyone got the endings that they deserved, the good and the bad. And I'm certain that things will be the same in our own lives.
Very satisfying drama from every aspect. While Xiao Zhan is amazing in portraying a wide range of emotions, including physical, during the rehabilitation period, the entire cast was phenomenal from the leads to each supporting member. In fact, this was Liu Ruilin best performance for me. I watched it twice!

I’m glad Hong chun and li were caught. Never expected Hongchun to be the antagonist. Tsk tsk for what he’s done. Glad chunsheng realized that they are no longer brothers.
Without hongling around seems like guohuo and chunsheng are somewhat friends again.
In the end, it’s only family that sticks around.

I'm not going to lie, I never thought I will like this kind of drama from this era. But I decided to give this a a try because of Xiao Zhan and I gotta say, this is a master piece. I love how this era was potrayed. The character growth was amazing and I am so impressed. That's not to say I will give this era another chance lol.
Although, I didn't like the fact that XC was that kind. There is a saying that say once bitten twice shy. I get that it's a movie/make believe. And it's worse because both XCS & TXM were both nice, I think a mix of both of them with a sprinkle of ye feng would have made the pair more colorful. But they were both so nice and it made them dull at some point.
In conclusion: this is such a wonderful piece ❤

Omg!!! Such a sad epi. I was really worried for xiaomei. I was like ur really not gonna end it with her dying r u??? So glad she made it. After all chunseng has been through loosing her would have destroyed him. Happy to see guohua is where he needs to b an is bak as chunsengs best friend. He always belueved in him but guohua didnt see it. I hope hongling finds her dream. I didnt rwally like her but i do hope she does well in her music, thats the one thing that remained her passion for music. Such a telling drama. Life is not always the way u want it to b, u just have to go with it. Im super happy that things started working out after all that bad time. The cast if this was wonderful. 💯 Fine Art! That's what better describes The Youth Memories. It's a pleasant series to watch. My Bravo 👏👏 to the full staff who worked on this project, starting eith Producer and Director, and of course including screenwriter, casting Assistant, Music and Photography Assistants, actors and everyone else. The story is super! The script was well written. The full cast of actors did terrific!! Xiao Zhan and Li Qin look great together. Suport actors were fabulous as well. You got me attached to my chair every evening watching a couple of eps. I really enjoyed the series. However.....I almost died of a heart attack when Xiome got sick at the hospita, infected with SARS 😥 on ep 38, and when I heard that Chunxiao & co did not have the patent for its core technology! 😣🤦🏻♀️....All is well now. Nagyon tetszett ez a sorozat. Köszönet minden színésznek és a stábnak ezért a sorozatért. Nagyszerű jelenet volt, amikor a férj és feleség egymást bátorította telefonon keresztül. Annyira valóságos volt. Minden karakter tetszett. Remek színészi teljesítményeket láttunk. Xiao Zhan nekem egyébként is a szívem csücskében van. Szeretem őt, bármelyik szerepében láttam.
