Li Qin is a rare combination of beauty, delicacy, gentleness, intelligence. I saw her play in many dramas, she is an actress with huge potential. Zhang Yunlong ..I saw him playing in the comedy film: "Mr. Pride vs. Miss. Prejudice" with Dilraba Dilmurat. He has a special charm, his way of being reminds me of the sophistication of men in the 50's.
God ..I started stalking this drama when I was in my teens. And today TH-cam suggested me this video (in my 20s thatt is)when I have reached a point where I hardly watch any drams ..lol

Shawn Dou n Li Qin have such a great chemistry. Both are great actors. The supporting actors play their roles well too. The storyline is original n brings about strong emotions. I’m watching this drama for the 3rd time. It’s highly recommended.
I just can't watch this. I've never felt so much pain since something similar in my life. No parents has the right to put their past in the way of their child. How selfish! Each person's past is their own. Not the burden of their child! This is just too painful

Ok half way through 1st episode and I'm confused as hell. The meet cute with the 1st guy screams main couple along with the slow motion and background music. I don't know how they are gonna make me/audience change courses and root for her to get with cheekbones. I will continue to see

I think I enjoy this drama the first 15 episode, the rest was just OK for me. This drama talks about love, unconditional love, selfish love, greed, entitlement, forgiveness, one side love. There were so many miscommunication between the ML and the MF. I did cry myself a river from episode 6 to 10. There were a lot of sad moments, but there were also a lot of sweet, silly moments too. I did had high hopes for this drama but sadly to say it was just OK for me. Leading actor and actress has good chemistry. The ending could’ve been better, but I guess I take that. Over all in my opinion it’s a 7/10 for me. Happy watching☺️

Usually you watch an entire series and either say it was good or bad then forget about it and move on to the next. This series, however is different...it captivates you with true emotion as if you know these people personally due to the fact that the story is so real and poignant. No conniving concubines or clandestine murder plots just a very real story with the only demons being within themselves. I've watched many cdramas and I'd have to rank this one in my top 5 all time favorites. My only comment would be that Shawn Dou has a beautiful tone to his natural voice therefore I don't believe his voice should have been dubbed. You will love Li Qin as an actress after watching this...she is naturally gorgeous! I prefer cdramas over kdramas due to the more creative storylines and better cinematography. I realize theses dramas are purely for entertainment purposes however I want to scream to the TV and characters, "COMMUNICATE with each other" as that is always the culprit reason for all the misunderstandings, jealousy, fights, breakups etc. LOL But I'll keep watching because I am hooked on cdramas! PS: Keep the tissues close by.

I must preface the list by saying I'm in my mid-forties, 5 kids in college, a school principal and happily married to a very handsome/hard working man. That said, I am not a young female cdrama fan and my life is busy therefore I tend to prefer romance/comedy dramas as they're easy on my brain LOL. When I'm in between dramas and not sure what to watch next I tend to revert back to previously watched dramas and playback certain scenes thus I know it's one of my favorites. I think Wallace Chung is an absolutely phenomenal actor. Not just his good looks but his talents surpass any American actor any day. He speaks with his eye movements which I've never noticed before in anyone however I do not favor the storylines in all his dramas. In no particular order: Princess Agents, Sword & the Brocade, Master of My Own, Tears In Heaven & My Sunshine. I also enjoyed Here to Heart although as a female I felt much frustration during the series due to the male lead's method in winning his girl back but nevertheless I watched the entire series. I'm so looking forward to the releasing of Legend of Shen Li and The Emperor's Love.

I think I enjoy this drama the first 15 episode, the rest was just OK for me. This drama talks about love, unconditional love, selfish love, greed, entitlement, forgiveness, one side love. There were so many miscommunication between the ML and the MF. I did cry myself a river from episode 6 to 10. There were a lot of sad moments, but there were also a lot of sweet, silly moments too. I did had high hopes for this drama but sadly to say it was just OK for me. Leading actor and actress has good chemistry. The ending could’ve been better, but I guess I take that. Over all in my opinion it’s a 7/10 for me. Happy watching☺️

In this case i watched two clips of this drams too in first clip handsome doctor with her and then his brother with her so i am little bit confused. I thought doctor lead dead.😂. Usually you watch an entire series and either say it was good or bad then forget about it and move on to the next. This series, however is different...it captivates you with true emotion as if you know these people personally due to the fact that the story is so real and poignant. No conniving concubines or clandestine murder plots just a very real story with the only demons being within themselves. I've watched many cdramas and I'd have to rank this one in my top 5 all time favorites. My only comment would be that Shawn Dou has a beautiful tone to his natural voice therefore I don't believe his voice should have been dubbed. You will love Li Qin as an actress after watching this...she is naturally gorgeous! I prefer cdramas over kdramas due to the more creative storylines and better cinematography. I realize theses dramas are purely for entertainment purposes however I want to scream to the TV and characters, "COMMUNICATE with each other" as that is always the culprit reason for all the misunderstandings, jealousy, fights, breakups etc. LOL But I'll keep watching because I am hooked on cdramas! PS: Keep the tissues close by.

@@himawans09 I'd love to share my favs with you, however don't laugh! I must preface the list by saying I'm in my mid-forties, 5 kids in college, a school principal and happily married to a very handsome/hard working man. That said, I am not a young female cdrama fan and my life is busy therefore I tend to prefer romance/comedy dramas as they're easy on my brain LOL. When I'm in between dramas and not sure what to watch next I tend to revert back to previously watched dramas and playback certain scenes thus I know it's one of my favorites. I think Wallace Chung is an absolutely phenomenal actor. Not just his good looks but his talents surpass any American actor any day. He speaks with his eye movements which I've never noticed before in anyone however I do not favor the storylines in all his dramas. In no particular order: Princess Agents, Sword & the Brocade, Master of My Own, Tears In Heaven & My Sunshine. I also enjoyed Here to Heart although as a female I felt much frustration during the series due to the male lead's method in winning his girl back but nevertheless I watched the entire series. I'm so looking forward to the releasing of Legend of Shen Li and The Emperor's Love.
