Thank you, Andrew for sharing this stunning collection of Barbara Hutton's amazing jewelries. Love this format which includes history of some of the pieces. Wonderful, indeed.
What is sad about her life is that although she married many times and was extremely wealthy, she did not find true love. She died, leaving her fortune to her butler. Her collection of jewellery was indeed exquisite. This also happened to many very rich women around her time.
Apparently that version of her dying broke was mere innuendo and a dig to her fable millions. What I read in an article is that it was a fabrication to discredit Barbara.
@@whanuipuru4446 After a quick dig it seems that there’s two theories about what was left. One side is a biographer that claimed she was broke, the other is people close to her saying that was not the case. Who’s right we may never know. But, if there was money left……where did it go?
You need to edit your video, it is incorrect, you display a photo at: 0.15, claiming it to be Barbara's mother Edna Woolworth Hutton (1883-1917) She was only 34 years old when she died! The photograph you display is of her older sister in late middle age, namely Jessie May Woolworth Donahue (1886-1971)! I hope you will correct this mistake.
Don't hold your breath. The mispronounced words drive me to distraction. As long as they use AI and don't proof these vids stupid mistakes will go on along with misinformation.
All of the pieces. Magnificent
Love that jade necklace
I would like to see more about Ms. Hutton’s jewelry.
Certain jewels history shine brighter than their sparkle

Fabulous😮
That Tiara and the almost casual pic of her wearing it says it all. lol Good for her.
Imagine reducing a perfect, historic diamond because you don't like its shape! That just blows my mind.
Hi I really was impressed w the Marie A pearl necklace thank u for video 🎉
Picture of Farrah Fawcett at 2:24 in her role portraying Barbara Hutton. Hutton's son Lance died in a plane crash at age 36.

No she died broke. Doris Duke on the other hand left her fortune to her butler!

Barbara did have such taste in jewlery.
She had more faith and lovefrom her spectacular jewlery than her marriages.

Doris Duke left her fortune to her butler. Barbara died with less than $5000
yes pls to part 2
That coloured picture is not Barbara Hutton but Farrah Fawcett portraying Barbara Hutton.
From what i have read, she had a passion for pearls. A string or two of pearls was all she had when she died.

@@Sharon-c3q2t Your so correct! Thank you
Barbara's jewelry collection was long gone by the time she died. At the end she only had a few thousand dollars in the bank.
The outstanding Emerald Necklace belongs to Elizabeth Taylor
The word is JADEITE
Barbara Hutton died alone and broke, with only a little over $3000.00 in the bank. So much for collecting shining rocks....
It was $8,000.
The great love she could have had for free is Jesus Christ
What a waste. From 1929 to 1979. She was dying at Beverly Hills hotel with $8,000 in the bank. Sad. By the way, she needs to focus on her eyebrows.
😮😮😮😮they were her and beautiful
You keep mentioning the pearl necklace - yet you’re showing quite a few different ones…wish you wouldn’t do that. Can’t trust your narrative…
nope
