This is a video in my new Core Concepts series -- designed to provide students and lifelong learners a brief discussion focused on one main concept from a classic philosophical text and thinker.
This Core Concept video focuses on Blaise Pascal's unfinished work, the Pensées, specifically on his conception of the three orders, namely those of bodies or flesh, the mind and knowledge, and the will or love. There are people primarily focused on and oriented to the matters of each of these orders. The orders are incommensurable with each other, differing not only in object but also in value
This is discussed primarily in sections 460 and 793 in the Brunschvicg edition.

Many a time did my heart get so vehemently thrusted with an instinct of love that I often find inexplicable. Thanks for the video ❤️
