    11:24 i also have english as my "comfort language"!!! I write my diary using it and process through trauma by talking with myself about things in english. It lets me put a distance between me and what I'm saying, so it lets me be more vunerable than in my mother tounge. Sending support and companionship!

    Hi Eli, you have been a very comforting person in my life for the past year, making me feel less alone, so I want you to know that you aren't alone and I care about you. My name is Gwen, I live in Canada. I speak English, a little bit of Spanish, a tiny bit of French, I'm still learning both, and I am trying to learn Ukrainian, Japanese, and Scottish Gaelic. I have some things that have helped me in very rough times as well as some of my safe foods and drinks that you might want to try when you get the chance and energy.
    Safe food/drinks: Gatorade Fit (IDK if it's available everywhere but it's about 10 kcal a cup so if it's a sucky day where you can't manage regular calorie amounts in servings, it's a great way to get electrolytes and vitamins) Puffed rice cracker things --> yummy not very filling though, strawberries, apples, smoothies (sometimes drinking fruits instead of eating them is better in my brain, idk, EDs are weird), apple sauce is yummy, different soups are nice and don't hurt your stomach to eat and you can easily tell when you're getting full because you can feel the liquid moving that sounds really gross but to me it's nice because it helps me not overeat as much,.
    Tips for feeling awful: art, naps, doing something you love like working with languages, time with animals, force yourself to go outside and just sit there until you feel better and breathe, painting your nails or doing makeup can be nice because it changes your appearance and serves as a way to escape the everyday pain of repetition, stretching your body can help release tension in your body and mind, try making something like a bracelet or a doodle, try looking at everything that happens as an accomplishment and it can motivate you to do more the next day (easier said than done, ik) pick up a cartoon book or picture book and read it, nostalgia can be a good escape.
    I hope some of that can help you. On a completely different note, I love your hair. I hope you can find it in you to give yourself some care and love. You're amazing Eli.

    I completely relate to the no safe foods thing, recently my holidays from uni started and I've been stuck at home which is so stressful to the point that any food is just like... no? I don't know, I mean I have to eat what I'm given but why tf are basic human functions such a problem??

    Try to spend more time in nature I wish I can maybe that might cheer you up when you’re feeling down I have an ed for 2 years and I haven’t left the house for almost 3 years I haven’t even seen the sun in 3 years or stepped out my front door having an ed has made me scared to go outside god bless ❤

    idk about you, but my safe foods during one of my worst ana arcs are cucumbers, tomatoes, celery, or anyhting close to 0 kals. Maybe try a little bit of tose? If you really can't keep it down, just chewing it and spitting it out can also count. Maybe even very light juices that are diluted with water can help. Just try anything to stay alive, cause at least there's a tiny chance that you could get better.
