- From our Warbirds & Classics coverage, here is Horizon Hobby team pilot Tony Quist doing what he does best. I was playing around with some onboard video, so included that on some of the maneuvers. where can you find the auto starter bracket which will fit into the p51 cowl?
I completely understand why some choose to use a gyro, but for me, I feel it robs the pilot of truly getting to know the airframe. Either way, it was a beautiful flight!
What gyro he has on this plane?
Looks like he had some rudder glitching on takeoff. Maybe a gyro
+Mike Baltes yeah, he had a gyro in it that was freaking out a bit in the wind.
What ENGINE It?
Unfortunately I don’t know what engine was in the model.
Ugh not a fan of gyros in gasser. Shakes to much while flying. Gyros are crutches but at the cost of your plane... I understand.
I'm not a big gyro guy myself either, but they can have their benefits.
NO pilot! What a shame.
