In Memoriam JACK KIRBY August 28, 1917 - February 6, 1994 STAN LEE December 28, 1922 - November 12, 2018 These were the two men who brought the Uncanny 'X-MEN' to the world. Excelsior!
This is "fantastic"...... To be able to sit back and enjoy comic books dear to your heart played out for you with all the sounds and voices for all the characters! I just wish she`d do all 66 issues of that first run of the original x-men!
I remember having this on a dvd included on something my mom bought a while ago, though I lost it, it was still cool t see it on sounds like the male Xmen members are voiced by the same person other than Professor X
These remind me of the late 1960's Marvel Superheroes Cartoons. Even the narrator's and character's voices are the same! Well done and keep them coming!
Prof. X's voice sounds alot like actor Joseph Ruskin, whom was on TV shows such as Land of the Giants, The Time Tunnel and did the voice of "The Horla" in the Vincent Price movie "The Diary of a Madman" (1963).
i just now noticed that knuckles from sonic adventure voiced beast. also for some reason i always thought profrossor x said his gonna mad take him down
a wonderfully and dramatic way to enjoy reading and listening to comics and marvel and dc comics should promote this entertaining idea for people with disabilities and voice actors who are looking for work please try and let them know about it Maya. Thanks!
This was nicely done I love reading X-Men comics that are from the silver age of comics this is when superheroes saw a rise in comic book popularity. The silver age can also be referred to as the age of rebirth for super heroes.
beloved X-MEN This is beautifully well voiced only complaint that i always had about the first issue is when Xavier says ''Tardiness will be Punished'' is just so out of character seeing him portrayed that way just glad they gave him a better personality afterwards anyway love X-MEN since all my childhood
I can't believe it I, enjoyed watching this digital comics episode...wow, cool post thanks for sharing 👌👍 but where's the other episodes? Is this the only episode? Pls, upload more digital comics episode of x-men...
Great job, presenting us this series. Please continue ..... Good ol' Stan. No one can complete those sentences in the middle of a test or a battle. It was what Harrison Ford said to George Lucas. Obviously, the Stan Lee force was strong with that one. Stan's unnecessary dialogue was something that Steve Ditko hated it as it slowed down the viewer's eyes in action scenes. Will Eisner agreed. He didn't specify Marvel, but Mr Eisner lamented about too-wordy writers. Why have drawings if the writer is going to explain what the picture already depicts? ....., This issue came out in New York the same time as Avengers #1 (July 1963). Unfortunately, this group was overshadowed by the Avengers. Still, it is an exciting premiere issue. Slim Summers later became Scott. Prof X's attraction for his student raised eyebrows. It was something like the High School-er Peter Parker going out with a career girl Betty Brant. No teenage girl would be secretary to the big boss in a publication house. The answer to Spider-man's romance was to NEVER give Betty an age. The answer here was to transfer Professor X's pitter-patter heart to Cyclops. He was Jean's age.
At first, I didn't like the "New X-Men". I liked the original ones better. I got to like the new members later. But my favorites will always be the original members. Although the "New" members are alright.
I HAVE SOMETHING SEPARATE TO SAY IT’S QUESTIONS IF THERE MIGHT BE A DIFFERENT (PROF. X) Now I wonder if there might be an alternate version of (Professor X) that isn’t completely bald, and I wonder if that alternate version his body might be in his early age 50’s something, instead of his body being in its somewhat late age 60’s, and to add I wonder if this alternate version of (Professor X) might be married, and also to add I wonder if he might be father of one, or two kids of his own as well? I must explain something about my what if question about a different version of (Professor X) having the age of his body being in the early age 50’s something; Now I imagine that in some unknown dimensional realm there is an alternate version of (Charles Xavier) who has a extra mutant ability, and that is his body ages at a tiny bit of a slow pace, and so even though he is 60’s something years old of age, I imagine his body on the other hand is 50years old, and not only that I imagine that over time he has strengthened his arms allot from constantly moving his wheel chair. In addition I can imagine that (Charles Xavier) might of also done plenty of exercising for his arms, and for his hands along with his wrists in order to keep them in really good healthy shape; So that way he can handle dealing with certain types of stuff without help from others, and I imagine he kept doing this before the high technological wheel chairs were made, along with other types of things too.
I was beyond excited to watch this being I've always wondered what was inside X-Men #1 but to my surprise its pretty wordy and boring. I see why the early years of x-men comics were unpopular
He was crippled shortly after his first meeting with Magneto in Israel. Charles tried to confront a villain called Lucifer in his lair, but Lucifer set off a trap that crushed Charles' legs under heavy stones. At least that's the story up to the point I've read (the late 80s).
Talk about Saving your self Some School Funds, "No Intercom speakers wired through out the School, Professor Xavier psychic powers work well when there is only five kids in a private school, Hate to hear when the Lunch Bell Sounds ,Stan Lee didn't think this through when Pro-X recruited Jean Grey , They call it a private School, when in real life it's an ISIS recruiting Station for Both Good & Evil Mutants, Did Magneto get the Idea of Sky writing from the Fantastic Four? Nobody learned to Fly a plane, No wonder the X-Men loose so many Black Bird Jets, What other things they do Not learn if not get a License to Drive or license to Drive a plane ?
Sorry, I may be in the minority, but I really HATED the art of Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. I understand their amazing contributions but VERY lazy lines and shadowing. This is just 12 days of stupid!
I love the old campy superhero music too.
Slightly sexist, some might insinuate or suggest! Those were da days. Lol

Excelsior!
may their souls be eternally blessed
Don't forget Steve Ditko
Good job, great voice talent & music. Much better than most comic reads. I had this comic in '63, I was 8 .
These voices are perfect!---The voice of the professor has to be Joseph Ruskin.
So awesome seeing the humble beginnings of my favorite thing in comics...the X-Men!
This is "fantastic"...... To be able to sit back and enjoy comic books dear to your heart played out for you with all the sounds and voices for all the characters! I just wish she`d do all 66 issues of that first run of the original x-men!
Speaking of Fantastic, would love to see a Fantastic Four digicom
I’d love that man these classics are great there genuinely entertaining and inspiring for any aspiring comic book artist such as myself
I remember having this on a dvd included on something my mom bought a while ago, though I lost it, it was still cool t see it on sounds like the male Xmen members are voiced by the same person other than Professor X
I have a similar DVD for Ultimate Daredevil complete with the first issue of the original Daredevil from the 60s
I really enjoyed this digital comic. Please play all the issues if possible.
These remind me of the late 1960's Marvel Superheroes Cartoons. Even the narrator's and character's voices are the same! Well done and keep them coming!
Great multimedia presentation of Kirby/Lee - very respectful of the original Art.
Thanks very much.
Love this nice
Thank you so much for making me go back to my childhood.
Prof. X's voice sounds alot like actor Joseph Ruskin, whom was on TV shows such as Land of the Giants, The Time Tunnel and did the voice of "The Horla" in the Vincent Price movie "The Diary of a Madman" (1963).
Beast here is so different from how we would know him to be characterized. He’s a straightforward jock, no big fancy vocabulary.
im very grateful for this
I think character actor Joseph Ruskin is the voice of Prof. X.
i just now noticed that knuckles from sonic adventure voiced beast. also for some reason i always thought profrossor x said his gonna mad take him down
Amazing voice acting !
I love this!

Wow this is so well made
beloved X-MEN
This is beautifully well voiced
only complaint that i always had about the first issue
is when Xavier says ''Tardiness will be Punished''
is just so out of character seeing him portrayed that way
just glad they gave him a better personality afterwards

Wow, No thumbs down and a 100+ thumbs up...keep it up.
Is Beast in this audio comic voiced by the same guy who voiced Knuckles in the adventure era sonic games? Because it sounds just like him!
Really nice job, best like of all time..."the first of the evil mutants has revealed themselves."
I’m gonna binge read the series when X-Men gets announced to the MCU. But only the main titles as it’s easier to keep track.
We must king of the hill it with marveling comics
Me looking at the thumbnail:
"Hey, it's Captain Picard!"
7:48. Foreshadowing?
Do you have the origin of Iron Man in this digital comic book series?

Miss the Beast when they changed into Blue Fur junk.
5:56 you're the oldest beast so you're first
One question why does the machine gun sound like a laser gun and not a machine gun
I have to know. Who made these fantastic audio tracks?
Graphic Audio? This is high-end production.

David Curry they were teens. Lol
@@miked3168 Professor X wasn't a teen and he was thirsty for Jean, too lol
Hey by the way, how long was it before Beast got his more iconic look?
In the 70s is were he becomes his look

Love these reviews. Can't see the Feminist being receptive to male approach towards females. Lol.
At first, I didn't like the "New X-Men". I liked the original ones better. I got to like the new members later. But my favorites will always be the original members. Although the "New" members are alright.

Slim ?
Yeah, Stan Lee didn't decide on "Scott" for Cyclops's real name until issue #3.
I was beyond excited to watch this being I've always wondered what was inside X-Men #1 but to my surprise its pretty wordy and boring. I see why the early years of x-men comics were unpopular
10:55 "Due to childhood incident, I must remain in this chair."
I thought Charles become crippled during the Korean War. Is Charles a child soldier?
Yeah they for sure changed the source of his injury. This first mention of childhood got retconned later on.
He was crippled shortly after his first meeting with Magneto in Israel. Charles tried to confront a villain called Lucifer in his lair, but Lucifer set off a trap that crushed Charles' legs under heavy stones. At least that's the story up to the point I've read (the late 80s).
its just wesker lol

Man the TK sound effect is horrible!

Slim Summers is better then Scott in my opinion
I hate iceman’s voice.
