You actually earns xp faster on SB now then before. Earlier you earned 2000xp for a 4 min game on superstar, those matches took about 20 min because you actually has to play. Now they have raised the xp you got on rookie, a 3 min game give you 1200 xp. On rookie you only have to score once, then you can stand still with the puck rest of the game, a game takes 10 min. So actually you have gone from 6000xp per hour (old superstar) to over 7000xp (new rookie)
@ no it sucks, just saying that if you want to grind xp fast SB got faster then before. Season 1 &2 i grinded in SB superstar 4 min periods and I also think it sucks that they killed that. They promoted the game as ”Play as you want”, get the same rewards whatever mode you play, now they have totaly killed that to. This is the worst NHL ever and proberly the last I will play
Don’t make any pack yet, two weeks to toty so better save the collectibles until then, you can the chose set by what you need for foder and if you are very lucky you can get one in your pack
I don't pay for xbox online service, so pretty much only have squad battles. They removed the coin rewards which was my only way of getting money since pretty much of all my objectives are completed. What a stupid move, can't buy anything anymore, fantastic.
I opened the first pack for squad battles and its worse than it was, only 2 cards when before it was 3. So everything is worse for offline players. And why exactly should online players get way more than offline players? Offline players are not playing the online players so why does it matter to online players that they have to get better rewards? Instead of creating this ridiculous base imbalance between awards, Increase the rewards for wins in pvp, which is the whole point of playing pvp, right? And in squad battles, increase the rewards based on time and difficulty (like how it was...). Make winning a 4 min period superstar game by 5 goals (or whatever objective they want to set to make it similar to pvp difficulty) the same as the xp/rewards you get for playing a pvp match and losing. Then give bonus xp/rewards to the player who wins the pvp match. Then you get the incentive to pvp and win, which is the point of playing pvp, and even if you lose, you get the rewards as if you won a SB game on superstar. Plus you already get access to cards that offline players can't even get. I think that would be acceptable to most of the playerbase. But what they have now is a steaming pile of dogshit. I'll tell you this, we all support the game and if you piss off all the offline players and they stop playing, that's less support for a game that doesn't have a ton of support to begin with. That means less money for the game, which means it becomes a shittier game, the market gets weaker, everything gets worse, and ultimately it could kill the game. So even if you don't play offline and only like to pvp, you shouldn't be happy about EA kicking all the offline players in the balls because in the long run it will kick you in the balls too. And nobody should want to get their balls kicked, they deserve the upmost respect and gentle petting.

So , played rivals lost 8-1, 9-2. Than played Squad battles 12-0 on rookie. Both was not fun at all.

I have 1,650 cards from 75 to 84 that I’m saving for year of the year and 4.5M coins so I think I don’t need anymore cards
You can quick sell half of your collection and give away half your coins, and you will still have enough for the rest of the game.
