@ChrisGriffinGuy Well the two never had a direct crossover but there several small cameos from G1 the most overt being the episode "Only Human" which had Old Snake aka Cobra Commander but also Marisa Fairborne of Earth Defense Command is all but stated to be the daughter of Hawk and Lady Jaye. So it's pretty much assumed that GI Joe and Transformers are in the same universe since they are sister franchises.
Perhaps that would explain how Mars & Cobra gain the Hi-Tech weapons. Either they get it or salvage it from death Cybertronian. In fact, Nanomites were similar with those Microbots from Revenge of the Fallen. And Cobra Commander & Dr. Mindbender experiment which turn skin into Metal kinda remind me of the Bomb from Age of Extinction.
With the energon clusters seen in RotB for sure cobra is using them for experimental weaponry. The joes if get help from the autobots could have a better understanding to use the energon against cobra, but Optimus or another autobot maybe against the idea of gi Joe or any human using energon for whatever reason.

You had GI Joe And The Transformers from Marvel, the GI Joe vs The Transformers trilogy by Dreamwave and Devil's Due, another by Dreamwave which had them meeting during WW2, and the retro-styled Transformers vs GI Joe from IDW. I guess you could also count Revolution and First Strike as part of that even though it was a team up of many Hasbro brands like Micronaughts, ROM Space Knight, MASK, GI Joe, and Transformers.

It’s just a show based on the US military (obviously over dramatized and blown to more of an action show for kids but i digress). Seeing as how GI joe looks to be more like a SHIELD/MIB type of group in the transformers universe it definitely seems like it could work fluidly.
I hope that the Transformers and G.I. Joe in this reboot continuity, which Bumblebee began with, will be part of a Hasbro cinematic universe soon, and everything in it will be right and not messed up.

Then, they find a magical portal that takes them to someplace called "Candyland" where they meet up with some talking Ponies, and have to all team up to take down a dude wearing a tux and top hat, who is trying to take over all the universes, merge them and create a personal Monopoly out of them.

Charlie and John Cena's character should be in GI Joe, she dealed with cybertronian technology and biology and he already interacted with autobots and decepticons and was there during the first 2 fights between transformers to happen on Earth

If your not buying the new stuff from image comics involving the energon universe then your missing out. It’s already happening with Void Rivals and the transformers/gi joe crossover. Same universe now.

I'm willing to bet we have ourselves a crossover movie event coming soon but we need to get a new G.I.Joe movie that fits with the story. OOH I can just see the possibilities that's going to come.

This is just a suggestion, but maybe they should do a movie about an origin story of G.I., Joe
Charlie and John Cena's character should be in GI Joe, she dealed with cybertronian technology and biology and he already interacted with autobots and decepticons and was there during the first 2 fights between transformers to happen on Earth
