Hello sir great video my partner has a Kia cerato 2006 and the back portion of the car the part the brackets go on goes from thin to thick so is no where I can install the back ones to where it fits snug. Any solution's? It will hold pulling and pushing once installed but because only less then half of the hook on the bracket is touching the car I can give it a slight push and moves. Any advice would be great
Attempting to put this rack on today again, I had severe trouble getting the hex screws in the right place in order for those hooks to catch on the doorframe. And when I ended up getting those in the right place the knob tightens down on the hook and lifts the whole roof rack up off of the car about a 1/4" of an inch and wobbles back and forth. Any tips or tricks would be awesome.
@@邵世峰 It’s not. I’m in the return process of the Universal Roof Rack. My Thule Evo system that I just got for my 2017 Honda Civic Sport requires short hooks in the front and long hooks in the back because my roof is contoured. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have a flattop roof.
@@邵世峰 I do not have a pre-braced roof rack on my vehicle from the factory. Just rain gutters. This product will ONLY work on roofs that are FLAT, not contoured.
Tried to install a 2025 Honda hybrid. Nothing good came of it. Everything according to the instructions. But the crossbar creeps back and forth with relatively little effort. People, I have an idea. I want to share it. Using a plastic trim tool, pry up on the left roof molding cover to release first retaining tab. Remove the clips from the second and third clips. Two bolts will appear in place of the two clips. Drill in two soles of the tower feet LD-5702 at a distance as between these bolts. Fasten the soles with TORX nuts. Now the crossbar will never crawl on the roof of the car. Drill the same holes in the lid. Close cover.

Yes, this luggage rack will only fit vehicles that do not have a pre-braced luggage rack on top of the car.@@aidengrimm1033
