Unc broke his own analogy when he brought up MJ. MJ was an AVID golfer during and the off season. He gambled too, some nights before games.
Tom Brady did played golf, surfed.
Everybody has hobbies and interests outside of their job. There is nothing wrong with having a one track mind for your path to greatness, but some people have other things to keep them preoccupied when they don't want to burn themselves out of their original goal.
The only thing is now, most of these things are beholden to the social media age, imagine if social media got ahold of Jordan Golfing during the season or around playoff time (which he did, golfed in the morning, that night put up 56 points).
All that matters is if he performs. Same is what matters for Kyler. As long as he performs.

I think another thing to consider; Kyler is not a married man and has no children. I do not know how much time other greats spend on family, but this is something kyler does not spend time on. Are we saying brees and brady didnt take time to spend with family? They both seem to have great relationships with their kids. There are things outside of football like that which uncs generation does not put in the same category, but time spent is time spent, don't matter how morally superior it is.

Mj invested in a lot of me time he just also invested in his craft a lot as well their is a balance. The question is your trying to compare these athletes to the greatest in his field.
I say Kobe was probably a lot worse than Jordan he didnt have much me time in that sense he overworked himself became obsessed with his craft.

Ask him in front of the entire offense why is he scrambling when his 1st or 2nd read is open. Ask him why is he looking a the X receiver when the TE is the primary receiver if the defense plays zone. Hold him accountable.

Patrick Mahomes plays quite a bit of video games so I think Shannon is putting a little too much into gaming being the problem. It definitely could be but the lack of film study is what matters.
