Polecats at their best. I was never overly keen on their songs but I love the way they took '50s rockers and put something of themselves into it. Beautiful slideshow.
Great photos here Steve !, - I didnt move from the Glostershire sticks to London until 84 and took a year or so to find the rockabilly scene, but recognise and still know some of those faces in the London cubs with great interest lol, fantastic times. Always thought the Polecats tv appearances early 80s wern't up to their records and live gigs, wrong choice of songs imho, hated "John".... Yes, my brother was friends with Chris Bey back in the 80s . They both lived and drank in Crouch End . He's recently got back in contact with a load of his friends from the 80s rocking scene and couldnt believe what he was told . Yet no one suspected him at the time .
