Hate to be that guy, but from the perspective of a conscious observer, this song does not seem to age, it only reaches new ears to be experienced once again, to be enjoyed. Saying the year and stating that you're still listening is a testament of beauty, it shows the nature of how something simple and elegant can rise above the dimension of time and becomes timeless.

I was growing up with the original songs in 90's from MTV Party Zone and after 25 years I still remember all these tracks, and so I found now remixes :)
OK, now I get it. I listened to only such music in the 80s-90s: electronic, new wave, British, industrial, techno, goa and similar in the South and later in Detroit. But I had no time to watch MTV, for sure :) First time I saw MTV was in San Diego in Jan-Feb 1983.
... And I thought it was a waste of time... :)
