What a perfect name for a clawcade. That gem pusher was so visually appealing I can see it sucking up quarters but its insane the payouts they had on really high quality prizes in the big claw machines. That trade in system is really smart, I can win at a game with skill but still pick what prizes I want to leave with and have to imagine its a good money saver for the arcade keeping plush in the arcade. This is an amazing arcade everyone in that area is lucky to have it.
Having played a ton of claws in NYC, can I just say, these two owners are the burliest most American owners for such an asian themed cutesy place. Props to them for finding a good business niche in Pittsburgh.
There is a claw arcade in Vegas that I've seen in reels on Facebook that is similar to this Clawcade. I believe they started in Japan and came over to the US.
Matt I love your videos but you have got to stop about people thinking that you are cheating. You are good at these games and it kind of takes me out of the video how much you say it. People are always going to troll and you just have to deal with it. I do love seeing you win and how excited you get. Keep up the good work.
You can tell Matt even thinks the payout is set higher because his enthusiasm is not genuine when he wins. Well to me it seems that way. But then again maybe the payouts are high because they hope people trade them in for tickets and the ticket items cost so much it makes it in the stores favor. Only other reason I can think of high payout. You trade in, have to come back and play but all you walk away with is tickets for say 4 visits because the items are insane.
I guess i am confused. on the free spins why are the odds on winning each number 20% when the prizes are not equal? I'm not sure which is the best between 4 and 5 but you would think they would have a lesser chance to win which most of the games you play have. Whether it is blue, yellow and red cups or even the knife ring game given that they all have different size handles and as such different percentage chance of wins.
They probably have them on a higher win rate because it looks very new to draw in customers. they'll probably lower the win rate later on once they're more established.
idk y people think they are filming when using a phone to make videos. when using a phone to make videos u r recording not filming. film is used for taking pictures with cameras that require strips of plastic ribbon. last i checked none of that is in a phone.
This was absolutely without a doubt machines with the payoffs lowered. You never ever ever hit claws that often without severely dialed down odds. I appreciate the video, but hopefully folks don’t run to the arcade with some expectation of getting those same odds.
