Bought the tan version of this because of the positive display, it really was difficult to choose because I love this green too, and I would have bought if it had a positive display.

That negative display is so terrible, but the version with positive display and tan strap looks awesome, with legibility on both the digital display and the analog, with the very visible hands and hour markers.
I agree the green's display isn't that great. these are supposed to be the utility line so function is supposed to take priority over form. and don't get me wrong I like these for looks too but there are plenty of other casioak models that I can wear for going out and there's gonna be more coming out in the future. its why I got the tan one and replaced the strap with a green one. no negative display, readable, and the natural metal color of the case means I don't have to worry so much about this taking a hit every so often.
Can anyone share what strap work with these? The adaptor confuses me, can you just use any 20mm quick release? Can you take the adaptor off? … if so what would you use without it size wise Appreciate any info
It is a two peace NATO style strap I think more known in the military .... it is a great strap look at older watches with the canvas or nylon cord straps of there day .... and yeah it may be worse for ware but if the lugs and are still attached to the watch strap just as the watch strap would be... fully intact in the worn condition ... That is a win in my game ... Cus it had to go thru so much hell and back ... so this having a canvas thread strap is not so bad ... And it does come with the lug extenders ... This way we as watch people can put any strap on it ....

So this one does not have positive display? How do you tell which ones do and don’t? It’s doesn’t tell you on the Casio website.

I bought green too..very cool..negative display is not a problem because there is an LED light
