Danny Lee is my favourite actor in Hong Kong's cinema. His devotion for portraying realistic cops and inspectors, included villains, in his tough ways nowadays it's inarrivable.
Absolutely! He's one of Hong Kong's most charismatic and underrated actors too. Unlike most of the celebrities, his acting style feels very natural and down-to-earth.
@nostalgyvideo Perfect way to describe him. His performance in "Law With Two Phases" (1984) changed forever the police dramas in Hong Kong and in "Final Justice" (1988) helped to grow more the biker communities at the port (thanks to his first movie directed in 1981). Very direct and powerful in his apparitions (an another example is in "The Informer" with Wang Chung).
do you have the instrumental violin thing that plays at the final fight of peace hotel 1995? the one that plays when chow yun fat kills all those people with the sword?
