- Stephen King reads from his new novel "11/22/63," in which a man travels back in time to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. King discusses the novel, and his long literary career, with novelist Tom Perrotta. This lecture was presented by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and recorded on 11/7/11. He makes me proud to be a Mainer. He paid for new windows in the whole entire old building of the living quarters of the Theater at Monmouth in Maine, and because of him, I could open the window of my room in the sweltering heat of summer during a summer theater stay. Thank you.
Marianne Leavitt Stephen King is a great man.

11/22/63 is a brilliant book.
(The inside jokes re: IT made me laugh out loud!)
Highly recommended reading. Ingenious plot. Don't know how King's mind, hence writing, makes even time travel seem plausible!
One of my favorite books. (And after 200 audio books one of the best narrations)
Mike Young what did you like the most about it?
Yes!! Finally, someone else is bringing up how good the audiobook is! I've listened to it about 6 times already. Beginning to end! 😊
I love when Stephen King recommends Horror films on his Twitter. It makes me geek out as a Horror fan myself.
Inspiring

just because you travel in time and stop one assassination attempt doesn't mean things are going to get better. you can't predict the outcome of that.. maybe you make some other key people get killed. History goes on, things are still going to happen. I don't think you can steer history in one direction or make a big change just by saving one person in one particular occasion.
I’d argue against that. If JFK lived the US would of never gotten dragged into Vietnam, Civil Rights legislation would have never passed
Ok , no Andre to bitch about and no one bitching about people bitching about Andre . Good .
At least Andre can speak publicly, not like this guy.
The interviewer is so nervous, it's kind of annoying.
He’s not nervous at all. What video were you watching?
King is getting to look like those Florida women.
