It's kind of interesting. It's almost like he's a bad guy with enough charisma to pass the illusion of the opposite effect. Maybe those of us who haven't played one of the Tekken games are missing something?
Everyone in the Mishima bloodline has some sort of powerlust; enough to make do a whole bunch of stuff, but noone is exactly evil...maybe except Kazuya (and Jin! suprisingly enough...maybe). The thing about Tekken is that it isn't as Black and White (like Mortal Kombat) as i initially thought. Everyones got their complex backgrounds in addition to unique circumstantial situations they happen to find themselves in. Kinda made me appreciate the story telling in a new light. Heihachi probably still is a pretty bad guy, but i think i'd rather work for him than Jin.
Having played Tekken, I can tell you, Jin is the white Sheep of the Family, outside of a character not shown in the game, Lars (I guess there's Jun too, but she's only a Mishima by marriage). Trust me when I say the war in Tekken 6 was started for the best of reasons.

I really would love to see Heihachi in a Yakuza game. That or the reverse where Kiryu and Majima are in a Tekken game. Instead of different color pallets, you could choose between their 4 different styles for a match. You could probably also let them use different costumes they had from the games, like Majima's tux from 0, Goromi and 24-Hour Cindarella outfits. Kiryu would have his suit, casual and his boat outfit. Majima would just piddle his prize money away, since he already makes bank other ways and Kiryu obviously puts it towards the orphanage. Woof, looks like I got carried away a little in imagining what a Tekken cameo would look like for those two. Heihachi's cameo in a Yakuza game would probably just be him in one of those arena fights. Maybe up the ante with the rest of the Mishima clan thrown in.

Heh, Mishima who mentions the attack helicopter at 1:27 is a nice reference to Hotsuma dealing with them throughout the game unimpressed. It's also just another way for Mishima to mock his opponent who aren't worth his time. And to be fair Hotsuma, attack helicopters aren't completely useless as they're depicted in the game if the enemy doesn't see it first from thousands of kms away.

I really would love to see Heihachi in a Yakuza game. That or the reverse where Kiryu and Majima are in a Tekken game. Instead of different color pallets, you could choose between their 4 different styles for a match. You could probably also let them use different costumes they had from the games, like Majima's tux from 0, Goromi and 24-Hour Cindarella outfits. Kiryu would have his suit, casual and his boat outfit. Majima would just piddle his prize money away, since he already makes bank other ways and Kiryu obviously puts it towards the orphanage.
Woof, looks like I got carried away a little in imagining what a Tekken cameo would look like for those two. Heihachi's cameo in a Yakuza game would probably just be him in one of those arena fights. Maybe up the ante with the rest of the Mishima clan thrown in.

Heh, Mishima who mentions the attack helicopter at 1:27 is a nice reference to Hotsuma dealing with them throughout the game unimpressed. It's also just another way for Mishima to mock his opponent who aren't worth his time. And to be fair Hotsuma, attack helicopters aren't completely useless as they're depicted in the game if the enemy doesn't see it first from thousands of kms away.
