Hi Shawn, sent you a picture and video on IG of the two Omosako my son and I picked out at your store. Just reached the 10 week mark, one of them grew 7cm or so. 😊 100g heated stock tank and auto feeder, water change every 2-3 days.
Hey Shawn, subscribed to your channel after watching your koi series with the pond digger, great video's👍

Bro❤.. I love your content bro.. thank u for sharing..
as always,very informative Shawn👍
Glad you enjoyed it
In Japan, they all usually double in size in one summer. The key is how to get them to eat the total amount of food. Some people feed them 10 times a day or more in small portions.
One stop learning experience.
Thx shawn
Good meeting you the other day
This is an awesome video - very well done and informative
Thank you!
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it
I have so many questions! How many fish were in the tank? Do you think your setup had room for more stocking density or were you pushing the limits?
This video was awesome! I also really liked the golden corn video. Would love more educational videos like this! Question… for growing tosai do you need decent stocking density? Does competition seem to motivate better feeding? Thanks!
Great question!!!! I find stocking density is important, because koi will feel safer in numbers, and therefore more likely to eat more food. But be aware that the more koi, the more food, the more waste, the more water quality can flip upside on you. As far as the competition part I would agree that some koi will eat more than others, but then the shy ones tend to get left out. The solution to that is a aggressive eating pond and and shy eating pond? LOL
Great video very informative
Glad you think so!
Shawn I can relate to your grow out I have been doing them and documenting for some years now, I really harp on water quality but very nice video and informative for those that are thinking about doing something like this 👍
Cool! yeah I think the koi community needs more videos showing the change and development of their koi
