This fish had to grow on me; & boy did it ever! at younger age I really didn't like this fish but the potential of what they can become is where its at! its like investing in the stock market, never know truly where its going to go. I like the part of the hobby where patience and a good eye can be so rewarding.

@@shawnandmystickoi I have photos of the little ones, 15/18 cm in size, they have been swimming in my pond since last year, I will take them out in the spring and see how they have changed, I only noticed that they are growing slowly but I am not in a hurry either
@marcinweber7170 I have allot to still share, including how we've been growing our koi for a small local competition. In time I will make a video with the results.
Very interesting, question though. When a breeder is working with koi like these that change so much from year to year how do they keep track of who’s koi is who’s as they develop?

I won't be there,
They are similar in eating style a little more aggressive, I would say. In our lil growout pond they always are the king eaters
I have 6 golden corns, some of them close to 30 cm, they are starting to change dramatically and they will definitely be beautiful.
